These solutions or products typically encompass non-information technology related engineering or scientific disciplines and may require hardware, aerospace, communications, cyber, electrical, manufacturing, mechanical, or other specialized engineering domain knowledge. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical specifications.\nResponsibilities:\nCreate and maintain components of a virtual system.\nTroubleshoot, resolve, and document problems within virtual system in accordance with approved procedures to include:\nVerification of proper operation of the system.\nOptimizing and resolving issues associated with the virtualized environment.\nOptimizing and resolving issues with load cycling process.\nReview/correct and develop effective scripts in BASH, PowerShell, and Python to automate system load cycling and configuration procedure and provide user-friendly scripts to automate routine tasks.\nProvide inputs and review documentation pertaining to applicant’s area of responsibility. You will be responsible for writing and submitting for review new procedures as required.\nDevelop tools to expand insight into the virtual system operation and performance.\nDevelop tools to improve provisioning of virtualized systems.\nProvide start up and shut down support of the development and deployed systems.\nSupport delivery, installation, configuration and light-off of virtual system\nReport status at internal and customer meetings.\n Qualifications:\nRequired:\nBS or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering discipline. This is an entry-level position. No prior work experience is required.\nSecret-level security clearance.
