The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team, responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne, Florida office.\nResponsibilities:\nSupports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.\nPrimarily responsible for the manual movement, monitoring, and delivery of materials between warehouse facilities and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production / Material Planners via company vehicles.\nAssist shipping and receiving team with the receipt of inbound material.\nDelivers received materials to respective areas for proper storage.\nAssist in the loading and unloading of truckload shipments.\nAssembles orders, checks against customer orders and reports incomplete orders.\nRead and follow work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain material items to be moved\nLoad, unload, and move materials within or near warehouse, stockroom, storage facility, or manufacturing floor.\nLoad and unload materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand, pallet jack, or forklift.\nProvide materials to and from inventory location or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck, electric dolly, Forklift, or other tools as necessary.\nAble to lift 50 pounds, use rolling ladder going up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelves\nAble to spend considerable time standing, bending, and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildings\nAbility to prioritize and multitask daily workload.\nAbility to drive company van, manual transmission box truck.\nOperates pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner\nBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)\nAssist in packaging, assembling wood crating and loading large shipments.\nQualifications:\nRequired:\nUS citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of the work\nAbility to obtain a SECRET security clearance, due to the nature of the work and contract requirements\nHigh school diploma or GED\nMinimum 2 years’ experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process\nForklift/reach truck experience\nValid Driver’s License required\nAbility to drive manual transmission 26ft box truck\nDesired:\nExperience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor\nActive SECRET security clearance\nExperience using Costpoint\nClass A CDL\nAbility to prioritize and multitask daily work\nBasic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)\n-What You Can Expect:\nA culture of integrity.\nAt CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
