You will work alongside experienced Architects, Consultants and Developers to design, build and deliver innovative solutions using the Mood platform.\n\nThis role offers a unique blend of architecture, data modelling, low-code development and customer engagement. It is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and working directly with stakeholders to understand and shape requirements.\n\nWhat is Mood?\nMood is a powerful low-code platform built on SQL Server that enables organisations to model data, design business processes, create user interfaces and visualisations, and deliver customer-facing solutions. \nAs part of the Mood team, you will gain experience across the full solution lifecycle, from requirements gathering and business analysis through to solution design, configuration and delivery.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nSupport the design and delivery of business and technical solutions for Defence and Government customers.\nWork with customers and stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate requirements into effective technical solutions.\nParticipate in workshops, requirements-gathering sessions and solution design activities.\nCreate and maintain data models, architecture artefacts and solution documentation.\nConfigure and develop solutions within the Mood platform.\nDesign user interfaces, dashboards, reports and visualisations to support customer decision-making.\nContribute to business process modelling and systems integration activities.\nCollaborate with Architects, Consultants and Developers across multiple projects.\nPresent ideas and explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nKeep up to date with emerging technologies, tools and architectural best practices.\n\nEducation, Knowledge and Skills:\nEssential\nDegree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or another STEM-related discipline with a minimum 2:1 classification or equivalent experience\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nUnderstanding of software development and programming principles.\nExposure to SQL and relational databases.\nExposure to JavaScript or similar programming languages.\nInterest in technology, systems thinking and architecture.\nAbility to learn new tools and technologies quickly.\nStrong interpersonal skills and confidence engaging with customers and stakeholders.\n\nDesirable\nKnowledge of HTML and CSS.\nExposure to Python or other modern programming languages.\nExperience with personal coding projects, GitHub repositories or technical portfolios.\nUnderstanding of data modelling or database design.\nExposure to SQL and relational databases.\nAwareness of UX/UI principles.\nExperience with user research, prototyping or usability testing.\nKnowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.\nExposure to architecture or modelling frameworks (ArchiMate and Togaf)\n\nDue to the industries we work in, we require the successful candidate to be able to obtain high level security clearance.
