Our work is highly collaborative, so friendly relationship builders are vital to our teams.\n\nThe Role:\nDue to continued and sustained growth, we are looking for a Devops Engineer to join an Agile engineering team to work on a large complex programme of work for one of our customers, building a new bespoke software solution. You will be involved in:\nDesigning, implementing and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS.\nDeploying, scaling, and managing Kubernetes clusters. Familiarity with related technologies such as Docker and Helm.\nDeveloping and implementing automated tools and processes for building, deployment, monitoring, testing and maintenance of infrastructure and applications\nDeveloping and maintaining policies and procedures for security, compliance, and disaster recovery\nOptimise infrastructure for high availability, fault tolerance, and cost efficiency\nContinuously monitor and improve infrastructure and application performance\nTroubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues\nManage and mentor junior DevOps engineers\n\nThe Fit:\nWe are looking to recruit a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will have previous experience in a devops focussed role, able to play an active role in the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products. You will be excited about working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills. We are interested in speaking with candidates with experience in some of the following:\nDeveloping and deploying secure products using appropriate technology and patterns\nFamiliarity with key cloud concepts and technologies\nDesigning and operating highly available shared solutions\nWorking in agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban\nWorking with high-level stakeholders -both internally and externally.\nExposure to the some of the following technologies: Gitlab, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Packer, Vault, Serverless, Elastic Stack, Prometheus, Grafana, Artifactory & Nexus\nDue to nature of the sector this role, you will be required to undertake high level security clearance.
