This role blends creativity with hands-on experience, offering the opportunity to develop marketing skills in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.\nSchedule: Up to 18 hours per week with a flexible schedule.\nQualifications\nEDUCATION\nHigh School Diploma or GED. Required\nEXPERIENCE\nExperience with software programs such as: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, Outlook/email, and social media platforms. Required\nAbility to learn functions within the dining service department and related software programs. Required\nABILITIES AND SKILLS\nFamiliarity with dining plans and dining room facilities. Preferred\nAbility to work effectively with co-workers and customers. Required\nAbility to communicate clearly and work on a team. Required\nAbility to multitask and perform simple tasks, following written and verbal instructions. Required\nDetail oriented and able to work on own initiative. Required\nStrong organizational and time management skills. Required\nAbility to perform basic mathematical calculations. Required\nNeat and clean grooming and hygiene habits. Required\nMust present a positive image while representing Dining Services. Required\nMust follow all workplace safety procedures. Required\nResponsibilities\nAssist with event and dining marketing including, but not limited to, creating, scheduling, and distributing social media content, photographs, web content, and marketing materials. Ensure appropriate approval channels are maintained prior to posting social media content and/or publication and distribution of marketing materials\nProvide guidance to visitors during college events, such as Open House, offering clear and friendly assistance while answering questions related to dining services, dining plans, unit locations, and other dining-related inquires.\nAssist with special projects and daily office operations as assigned by supervisor, providing support and completing tasks accurately and efficiently.\nAttend select dining events and document activities through social media content\nPhysical Standards and Special Job Features\nLifting not to exceed 40 lbs.\nOccasional lifting not to exceed 75 lbs., when done with assistance.\nPushing and pulling of carts not to exceed 200 lbs., when fully loaded.\nStanding/walking for long periods of time.\nMay require frequent moving around to events across campus.\nPay Transparency\n$15.89 per hour.College Statement\nThis is not a complete itemization of all facets of this position.
