AbouttheRole

Weareseekingahighlymotivated ProductEngineering(PE)Intern tojointhe Pegasusphysicalverificationteam. Pegasus is Cadence’s next-generation physical verification platform used bysemiconductorfoundriesandchipdesigncompaniestoperformcriticalsignoffverificationtasks,includingDesignRuleChecking(DRC),LayoutVersusSchematic(LVS),Fill,PatternMatching,andadvancedmanufacturingverification.

As a Product Engineering Intern, you will work closely with Product Engineers, R&D teams, and leadingsemiconductorcustomerstohelpdevelop,validate,anddeploycutting-edgeverificationsolutions.Thisroleprovideshands-onexposuretoadvancedsemiconductormanufacturingtechnologiesandindustry-leadingEDAsoftware.

Responsibilities

• AssistintestingandvalidatingPegasusphysicalverificationflowsandnewproductfeatures.
• Developandexecuteverificationtestcasestoensureproductqualityandrobustness.
• Analyseverificationresults,investigateissues,andhelpreproducecustomer-reportedproblems.
• WorkwithProductEngineeringandR&Dteamstodebugandresolvetechnicalissues.
• Supportthequalificationofnewsemiconductorprocesstechnologiesanddesignrules.
• Createautomationscriptsandtoolstoimproveengineeringproductivityandtestcoverage.
• Preparetechnicaldocumentation,reports,andpresentationssummarisingfindingsandrecommendations.
• CollaboratewithglobalteamsacrossEurope,Asia,andNorthAmericaoncustomerandtechnologyinitiatives.

Qualifications

• CurrentlypursuingaBachelor’s,Master’s,orPhDdegreeinElectronicEngineering,ComputerEngineering,ComputerScience,orarelateddiscipline.
• Stronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills.
• Basic Programmingorscriptingexperience(Python,Shell,Perl,orsimilar)isdesirable.
• Knowledgeofsemiconductordesign,IClayout,orEDAtools.
• FamiliaritywithLinux/Unixenvironmentsisanadvantage.
• Excellentcommunicationandteamworkskills.
• Strongattentiontodetailandwillingnesstolearnnewtechnologies.
