Knowledge of cpu/memory internals and processes would be an advantage.\nOperating system platform technology knowledge from major vendors and open source solutions, including Linux, LSF, Slurm, Elastic Search, Jenkins, etc.\nExperience with Cloud Computing architecture in a hybrid model will be a significant benefit.\nShould have good scripting knowledgeand DevOps skills for automation tasks\nHands-on experience and Good knowledge with troubleshooting various user job issues in a Compute farm.\nShould have good communication skills both verbal and written\nShould be self-driven and dynamic in a fast-paced environment.\nDuties & Skills\nProvide Day to Day Farm support to Windows & Linux based Compute Farm (OnPrem & Cloud)\nAble to support the system upgrades and work load migrations, acceptance testing, and maintenance. \nAble to understand R&D specific requirements and current technology trends.\nVirtualization & Cloud knowledge would be an advantage.\nSpecific Ongoing Duties\nProvide system/farm, storage, and networking expertise for timely resolution of R&D user issues in compute farms.\nWork closely with R&D user community to improve user productivity and farm resource utilization.\nRegular knowledge transfers to direct team and cross-functional peers in IT.\nAutomate the repeated activities to create bandwidth.\nWork with global teams in different time zones to achieve common goals.\nWe’re doing work that matters.
