This role will serve as the point of\ncontact for all matters related to physical security, risk management, incident response,\nand protective programs, ensuring Cadence’s people, facilities, and IP remain secure and\nresilient in the designated markets.\nThis is a critical position for a company operating at the forefront of semiconductor design,\nAI acceleration, and global R&D expansion.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Operational Excellence & Incident Response\nOversee daily operational performance of guard force and reception vendor\nperformance\nEnsure training compliance and documentation integrity\nAlign operations with global security policies\nCoordinate closely with Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) to ensure\nreal-time monitoring, rapid response, and high-quality escalation management\nin the market\nConduct Physical Security Site Assessments for all facilities under their scope,\nand assist with other regional assessments, as needed.\nSupport on-site events with recommended security practices\n2. Vendor Governance & Accountability\nSupport Regional Director in vendor management\nConduct vendor performance reviews\nImplement corrective actions for service gaps\nEnsure contractual compliance3. Program Development & Execution\nDesign and implement field security programs\nLead SOP and training rollouts\nTrack KPIs and deliverables\nWork with Global Security Intelligence on operational opportunities and\nimprovement mechanisms\n4. Budget & Financial Management\nSupport budget planning and forecasting in designated markets\nMonitor expenditures and vendor invoices\nTrack procurement and providing financial insights\n5. Cross-Functional Engagement\nWork with global teams for standardization and localization\nPartner with IT, Legal, HR, Facility and other internal stakeholders and ensure\nongoing engagement and alignment are in place\nQualifications & Experience\n6+ years of progressively responsible security experience in corporate security, law\nenforcement, military, or intelligence roles\nExperience in security operations and vendor management\nRelevant incident management, crisis leadership, and stakeholder-influencing skills\nRobust written and verbal communication skills, with the maturity to engage internal\nand external stakeholders\nWhy This Role Matters\nThis position is a critical part of Global Security Operations team, sitting in the Head\nQuarters of the company in San Jose, US. It provides the unique opportunity to:\n- Manage security operations for one of Cadence’s most important regions\n- Shape a global program that elevates security standards worldwide\n- Play a major part in protecting critical semiconductor innovation that powers the\nworld’s most sophisticated technology\nThe annual salary range for California is $91,000 to $169,000. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
