The role works closely with customers to understand design/advanced node requirements and collaborates with foundry partners to translate those requirements into advanced software solutions.\nThe primary responsibility is the development of early-stage physical design flows, specifically pre-place-and-route (pre PnR) methodology, rather than implementation tools or sign-off tools.\nProgramming Languages & Tools\nJava (primary; JDK 11 to JDK 25)\nTcl scripting\nLinux shell scripting\nC++ (minor)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including but not limited to data structures, algorithms, computational geometry, database theorem, parallel programming, information theory, compiler.\nExperience with EDA tools, CAD tools, desktop applications handling large-scale datasets.\nFamiliarity with early-stage physical design flows, prior to place-and-route.\nExperience with software performance optimization, software capacity, and usability design.\nExposure to or experience with forward-deployed AI in engineering workflows is a plus.\nPosition Requirements:\nPassionate to learn and explore new technologies and demonstrates good analysis and problem-solving skills.\nSelf-driven in learning unfamiliar technologies through technical documentation, online communities, and internal knowledge sharing platforms.\nAbility to debug program with large legacy codebase.\nKnowledgeable of object-oriented programming language, data structures and algorithms.\nKnowledgeableof UNIX/Linux environments; familiarity with Windows is also beneficial.\nExcellent organization, analytical and presentation skills.\nCapability to assess task value, requirements, risks, and trade-offs for effective assignment and execution.\nAbility to interact professionally across teams.\nAbility to communicate in English.\nAbility to work individually without face-to-face working model.\nCareer Position:\nSoftware Architect for large-scale data and software infrastructure.\nSoftware Architect in design automation for System-level PPA, design ECO, and early-stage optimization flows.\nWe’re doing work that matters.
