This exciting role requires a passionate go-getter and doer who can work collaboratively with multiple cross-functional teams to drive customer engagements, training and assisting sales teams with cloud opportunities, coordinating with industry and partners, providing customer requirements to the new technology domain delivery team, and working with support organization stakeholders for end-to-end business process implementation. The role will closely collaborate with the field sales and services teams in advancing cloud opportunities across India and rest of Asia and accelerate the cloud opportunities growth.\nThe successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, skilled at customer interactions, strategic thinker in advancing opportunities for the cloud domain.\nJob Responsibilities:\nThe primary responsibilities of this role include:\nDrive customer engagements: Prepare and present Cadence cloud portfolio to customers, work with field sales reps and propose solution types and advise sales.\n\nBusiness development: Prepare relevant collateral and train the global field organization on various solutions, support customer meetings, evaluate sales opportunities and advise field sales. Lead marketing campaigns and business development initiatives to develop pipeline for Cloud\n\nEnable cloud-based products, roadmaps and business models: Support the operationalization of new business models by working with cross functional teams\n\nCloud partnership development & management: Assist in management of domain partner relationships and programs. Present the company portfolio at partner events.\n\nSupport Organization Coordination: Working with key stakeholders from marketing, legal, finance, sales ops, IT in the definition, creation and support of programs to enable end-to-end market requirements\n\nJob Qualifications:\nDegree in Engineering or computer science required\n\n10+ years of experience in business development / direct & indirect sales/ product management in EDA/Systems/PLM domains\n\n10+ years of experience in developing and executing Go-to-market plans for new technologies and disruptive SaaS platform products\n\n5+ years of experience in program management, and operationalization of new cloud-based products\n\nStrong technical and business knowledge of SaaS technologies, cloud computing and cloud services, deployment models in mechanical and electronic design segments\n\nExperience developing business models for cloud computing in the engineering domain\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully influence customers and peers at an executive level\n\nStrong experience working with key decision makers and customers, ecosystem partners, sales, engineering and IT to drive success in the marketplace\n\nProven track record of driving business development of Cloud based products and delivering to customers\n\nAdditional Skills/Preferences:\nWorking knowledge of computational mechanics tools in the EDA and/or PLM domains\n\nMBA (Masters in Business Administration) is a plus\n\nUnderstanding of tools & flows for PCB design, Multiphysics modeling and simulation, end-to-end mechanical and electronic design industry processes is a plus\n\nExperience working with customers in a variety of verticals such as high-tech, semi-conductors, hyperscale, automotive, aerospace & defense, industrial at the enterprise level\n\nAbility to work effectively with diverse teams of internal and external partners and customers\n\nAbility to synthesize unstructured data and present recommendations successfully to senior management\n\nAbility to translate customer and industry requirements and trends into product roadmaps, solutions, and business growth\n\nAdditional Information:\nCadence is committed to equal employment opportunity and employment equity throughout all levels of the organization.
