Team members are encouraged to challenge established thinking and share their ideas to create an environment where everyone can contribute to our shared success.\nWhat you will be doing:\nDevelop layouts and schemes for mechanical assemblies and parts\nTake ownership of your projects, highlighting risks and opportunities to the Lead Mechanical Designer\nProvide complete information for production processes, including materials, techniques, and quality requirements\nSupport the design group to meet the overall performance and delivery targets\nTo provide guidance and support to Graduate Mechanical Designers to ensure best design practice is achieved\nRequirements\nWhat do we need from you?\nPrevious experience in Formula 1 or Top-Tier motorsport is essential\nProven experience in a mechanical design role, including the design of chassis, suspensions, brake ducts, and hydraulics, within the motorsport industry is required\nA degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering) or similar\nProficiency in CAD software, preferably CATIA 3DX, with a proven track record of producing accurate and efficient designs\nThorough knowledge of mechanical manufacturing, materials, and analysis \nClear and concise communication, verbally and with the use of email\nAbility to prioritise in a time pressured environment and manage personal deadlines \nSelf-motivated, innovative, and comfortable working independently, while meeting challenging deadlines\nStrong levels of IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint etc) \nPositively contribute to an open and inclusive culture\nA team like no other.\nThe Cadillac Formula 1® Team challenges conventions and redefines success through bold ambition, cutting-edge innovation, and an unwavering commitment to precision and excellence-on and off the track.
