The Collections Management department also collaborates on large-scale installations, de-installations, and pack jobs.\nOccasional travel by plane, van, or truck may be required, as well as extended work hours, including evenings and weekends during large-scale projects.\nKnowledge, Skills and Experience\nBachelor’s degree in museum studies, Art History, Library Sciences, Fine Arts, or related field\nMinimum two years of museum, fine art, collection management, registration, or gallery experience\nA demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously\nComprehensive knowledge of art terms and best practices\nExcellent time management, problem solving, organization, and analytical skills with attention to detail\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal\nConfidentiality, discretion, and flexibility required\nWhile performing this job, the successful candidate will be required to sit, stand, and walk, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, do close work with a computer monitor, and perform repetitive hand movements\nMust successfully pass a background check\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain warehouse storage inventory.\nActivate storage accounts for new clients.\nGenerate digital records for all items arriving into storage.\nGenerate inventory reports for clients.\nPerform range of condition reports (from cursory to museum-level) on new arrivals and outgoing items.\nDevelop and implement regular inventory projects including regular audits.\nCoordinate large projects with Operations, Art Handlers, and Projects teams.\nGenerate reports for Accounting and Operations.\nCoordinate handling, packing, and movement of all items in storage.\nMaintain meticulous records of object movements and conditions.\nMaintain warehouse in clean and orderly fashion.\nGeneral\nEnsure compliance with all HR policies and procedures, and all other Company policies and procedures in place.\nAdhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.\nTo act at all times in the best interests of Cadogan Tate, its customers and its employees.\nOperating Dimension/Decision Making Authority\nAll decisions to be reviewed by manager initially.
