This position will be located at Langley AFB, Virginia and will be an onsite position.\nResponsibilities\nDesigns and develops network and system architectures and defines key capabilities and performance requirements. Defines total systems design and technology maturity constraints in accordance with mission requirements. Develops network and system element architecture and design and interface definitions. Defines network and system implementation approach and operational concept. Develops models and architectural guidelines for current and future network and system development. Ensures requirements are met and evaluates performance with customer.\nInterfaces with the user(s) and all other stakeholders in order to determine their needs.\n\nGenerates the highest level of requirements, based on the user's needs and other constraints such as cost and schedule.\n\nPerforms cost-benefit analyses to determine whether requirements are best met by manual, software, or hardware functions; making maximum use of commercial off-the-shelf or already developed components.\n\nDesigns and develops solutions to applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.\n\nDevelops partitioning algorithms (and other processes) to allocate all present and foreseeable requirements into discrete partitions such that a minimum of communications is needed among partitions, and between the user and the system.\n\nThe ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-scale ServiceNow solutions in support of a USAF program. This role provides hands-on technical leadership across multiple platform areas-including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, IRM, SecOps, HRSD, and App Engine-ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant delivery aligned with federal and DoD requirements.\nResponsibilities include:\nServiceNow Architecture & Platform Leadership\nArchitect scalable, secure, and compliant ServiceNow solutions across multiple domains and modules.\n\nServe as the technical SME for:\nIT Service Management (ITSM)\n\nIT Operations Management (ITOM)\n\nIT Asset Management (ITAM)\n\nSecurity Operations (SecOps)\n\nStrategic Portfolio Management (SPM)\n\nIntegrated Risk Management (IRM)\n\nApp Engine & Automation Engine\n\nCMDB and CSDM\n\nDesign and oversee integrations using Integration Hub, REST APIs, and custom spokes.\n\nLead platform governance, ensuring alignment with best practices and federal security standards.\n\nGuide developers and administrators on technical design, configuration, and implementation.\n\nProduce and maintain technical design documentation, architectural diagrams, and configuration standards.\n\nCollaboration & Program Support\nWork closely with Program Managers, Product Owners, and Stakeholders to support roadmap planning, backlog refinement, and solution delivery.\n\nEngage with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into architectural blueprints and actionable solutions.\n\nNetwork Architecture & Engineering\nProvide SME-level support on network infrastructure and network hardware.\n\nImplement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices.\n\nCreate accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning.\n\nApply strong understanding of network protocols, LAN/WAN technologies, and network security.\n\nDiagnose and resolve network issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\n\nProfessional Attributes\nExcellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.\n\nAbility to work collaboratively in team environments and directly with customers.\n\nSelf-starter who can work independently with minimal oversight.\n\nFlexible and dependable, able to adapt to program needs.\n\nAbility to quickly learn new technologies and products.\n\nQualifications\nRequired Education and Experience\nHigh School Degree with 12+ yrs experience\n\nClearance Level: Top Secret with SCI Eligibility (TS/SCI)\n\n10+ years of experience including\n\nServiceNow architecture, configuration, workflow development, and platform enhancements.\n\nEstablishing and executing platform governance.\n\nEvaluating operational and strategic demands against platform capabilities and leading practices.\n\nTranslating technical and business requirements into architectural blueprints.\n\nWorking directly with business stakeholders to identify, analyze, and map requirements to ServiceNow capabilities.\n\nCreating architectural blueprints for federal agencies.\n\nLeading ServiceNow version upgrades.\n\nDeep understanding of overall ServiceNow platform architecture.\n\nNetwork security, LAN/WAN design, and network infrastructure documentation.\n\nRequired Certifications:\nDoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II (e.g., Sec+ CE, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security).\n\nTechnical Expertise\nApp Engine Studio, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Predictive Intelligence.\n\nStrong knowledge of CMDB and CSDM.\n\nExperience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines integrated with ServiceNow.\n\nPreferred Skills and Experience\nExperience with DoD NIPR, SIPR and JWICS Networks.\n\nDoD 8570.01-M IASAE II (CASP+CE, CISSP, CSSLP) compliance.\n\nServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).\n\nServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).\n\nServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA).\n\nHow We’ll Support You:\nKeeping people satisfied is no small undertaking.
