(Visual & Dimensional verification may be required) \nLearn and assist with dimensional verification of PPAP and 1st article parts\nCreate internal Control Plans in accordance with customer and Advanced Laser requirements\nOperate FARO & Micro-Vu measurement equipment \nProvide direct support to the production floor by assisting with interpretation and development of manufacturing related documentation and providing proper measuring techniques\nAssist with calibration procedures and provide calibration of measuring equipment as outlined by site procedures and ISO Standard\nLead and train Level I inspectors as needed to increase performance \nTrain, identify, and implement lean process and project improvements\nRequirements\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nUnderstand industry safety standards and quality expectations\n3 or more years working in a metal fabrication environment under a continuous improvement QMS with hands on inspection preferred\nRead and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Write simple correspondence\nAbility to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals \nAbility to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret graphs\nKnowledge of word processing software, spreadsheet software, e-mail software and the use of the internet\nEDUCATION\nHigh school diploma\nAssociate degree in related field preferred \nLOCATION\nOnsite\nSCHEDULE\nM-F; 6:00am - 4:30pm\nWORK ENVIRONMENT\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and vibration.
