Repairs are performed on Class I and II electronic medical devices, requiring careful handling, precise workmanship, and adherence to quality standards. Meeting established productivity and quality standards is an essential requirement of this position, including repair volume targets and warranty repair rate thresholds. The role also contacts customers as needed to gather information required to complete repairs accurately. \nJob Duties and Responsibilities\nTroubleshoot and perform repair operations on specific Cadwell products, completing work accurately and in a timely manner.\nContact customers as needed during the repair process to gather additional information required to complete service orders accurately.\nFollow established technical and administrative policies and procedures, including pricing guidelines.\nMaintain work area, tools, and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, adhering to prescribed safety procedures and regulations.\nComplete required documentation and paperwork accurately and on time.\nOther activities as directed, assigned, or requested.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nWorking knowledge of electronics fundamentals as applied to the repair of electronic medical devices, including resistors, capacitors, and other electronic components; soldering; component removal and replacement; and schematics and other electronic documentation.\nWorking knowledge of computer applications including MS Office, Google Workspace, query tools, and database systems.\nDevelops and maintains knowledge of Cadwell product lines and how they are used by clinicians, and effectively troubleshoots computer hardware and software issues.\nDevelops and maintains a foundational understanding of Cadwell's Quality Management System (QMS), including product escalation processes and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).\nCommunicates clearly and professionally with co-workers, customers, and vendors in both written and verbal formats.\nApproaches work with attention to detail, an organized methodology, and effective time management and follow-through.\nExhibits Cadwell's core values of integrity, initiative, accountability, commitment to excellence, and service to others.\nEducation / Experience\nHigh school diploma or equivalent (required)\nTechnical certification in electronics or a related field (preferred)\nNo prior experience required; relevant experience in electronics repair or a related field is a plus\nPhysical Requirements / Working Conditions\nPositions working with Cadwell equipment generally may require some reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and 2-way written/verbal communication.
