This role is embedded within the D&S Canada architecture team and supports both project delivery and in-service operations.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nCybersecurity Architecture & Implementation\nLead the implementation of cybersecurity controls and architectures for current and future D&S Canada programs\nTranslate contractual cybersecurity requirements, including CDRLs, DIDs, and Annex F matrices, into implementation plans and technical architectures\nSupport the development, maintenance, and customization of reusable cybersecurity documentation and templates for proposal and program delivery activities.\nProject Delivery & Technical Leadership\nServe as the primary cybersecurity lead for assigned programs, ensuring alignment with Government of Canada cybersecurity requirements, including DIMSecur and PSPC guidelines.\nParticipate in technical reviews, working groups, and customer engagements to represent CAE’s cybersecurity approach and program compliance.\nCollaborate with engineering and IT teams to validate cybersecurity tools and support the secure deployment of virtualized environments.\nCollaboration & Stakeholder Engagement\nPartner with internal stakeholders, including Digital Services, Engineering, and Program Management teams, as well as external partners, to support cybersecurity compliance requirements.\nProvide guidance and knowledge sharing to cybersecurity team members and contribute to architecture team initiatives across multiple programs.\nOperational Support & Sustainment\nSupport cybersecurity operations activities, including vulnerability management, incident response planning, and compliance assessments.\nContribute to the development and maintenance of SharePoint and Power BI content used for cybersecurity documentation, reporting, and program tracking.\nMinimum Qualifications\nCurrent Government of Canada security clearance.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, cybersecurity implementation, or a related cybersecurity function.\nExperience working within defense, aerospace, government, or other regulated environments.\nKnowledge of Canadian government cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements, including:NIST 800-171\nNIST 800-172\nITSG-33\nCanadian Centre for Cyber Security (CCCS) publications and guidance\n\nExperience with virtualized environments such as VMware, VDI, or similar technologies.\nExperience with network segmentation and secure cloud environments, including Microsoft Azure Protected B environments or comparable secure cloud solutions.\nExperience with cybersecurity technologies including:Firewalls\nIntrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)\nSecurity Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms\nEndpoint protection solutions\n\nAbility to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.\nStrong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work in English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Government of Canada defense programs.\nFamiliarity with military simulation, training, or mission-support environments.\nExperience supporting cybersecurity compliance activities throughout the system lifecycle.\nExperience developing cybersecurity reporting or documentation using SharePoint and Power BI.\nAbility to communicate in both English and French.\nBenefits\nCompany benefits plan\nPension plan\nEmployee stock purchase plan\nComprehensive health and wellness programs\nCareer development opportunities within a global organization\nHybrid work model\nBase Pay Range\nOur total rewards package includes base pay and benefits, with final compensation determined by experience, skill, location, and internal equity.\n$91,000 - $136,400 CAD\nAbout CAE\nAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
