Remains abreast of the most modern engineering concepts through personal learning initiatives and continuing education programs while applying this knowledge to assigned tasks when appropriate. This position pertains primarily to the Electrical Engineering segment of flight simulator design/development and is largely project oriented. Task assignments may transcend several projects/programs simultaneously.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nPerform engineering tasks including design, analyze, modify, test and evaluate input/output systems\nSystem diagram and schematic diagram generation in AutoCAD\nIntegration of aircraft avionics systems\nPerform and document electrical load analysis, balancing, etc.\n3-phase power system calculations and design\nAnalyze and evaluate the requirements compliance of CAE USA hardware products\nProvide administrative and technical support to Engineering department\nAssist other departments, when needed\nResolves technical problems and provides technical support to suppliers and manufacturing\nParticipate in installations and final sell off of training devices. Coordinate and review technical/operational deliverables prior to submission to customer\nUndertakes independent studies, analysis, interpretations, and conclusions\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nMust be enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree (or higher level) college/university program and majoring in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Computer Science/Systems Engineering\nMust have a minimum GPA of 3.0\nMust be proficient with Microsoft Office products\nMust be detail oriented\nMust be customer service oriented\nMust have excellent communication skills\nMust be able to work with minimal supervision\nDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.\nPreferred Skills\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD and SolidWorks\nFamiliarity with Raspberry PI, Arduino, BeagleBone\nMust be willing to learn new procedures and applications\nMust have good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills\nSecurity Responsibilities\nMust comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.
