That’s why we need your expertise and passion to complete our team!\nThe role we are offering you:\nA Facilities Procurement Specialist orchestrate and supports various department’s dealings with its suppliers, such as facilities and utilities management, training software and providers of services. The Procurement Specialist guides the purchasing of products or services for the department. This includes evaluating a potential provider’s reputation, resources and expertise, as well as helping with negotiations and contracts. Large internal departments may need a vendor management office, not just one person. This is often necessary when a training center or flight training operation has varied and complex contracts with outsourcers.\nBy joining our Global Procurement Supply Management team, you will have the opportunity to participate in exciting opportunities from the inception of the CAE strategic vision. Collaborating and working alongside our training center leaders and business development teams, you will identify, analyze, evaluate the right vendors, right technology and support the growth of CAE. Ready to:\nFormulates and implements category strategies.\nYou will be a subject matter expert (SME) in the methods and manner in which strategic vendors are identified, engaged and monitored on an ongoing basis to ensure the contract value negotiated is delivered by the vendor and processes for service improvement are employed to maximize the relationship value.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders such as BD, Legal, Finance.\nLeads stakeholder discussion and development of pre-contract requirements for vendor performance criteria, such as Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and delivery requirements to ensure acceptable performance and receipt of all materials required by the vendor engagement. Additionally, you will provide post-contract monitoring of vendor performance, identify deficiencies and institute remedial action to modify vendor performance.\nSupport assigned and execute related RFPs, contracts, renewals and SOWs to ensure inclusion of all requirements appropriate for the business need, to ensure minimization of risk and assurance the contract value is delivered.\nWorking with the business, recommend, draft and negotiate appropriate SLAs, oversee performance that is measured against the SLA and institute corrective and preventive actions, or processes, to improve the quality and timeliness of service delivery.\nConducts market intelligence to identifies opportunities and channel innovation.\nExpertly uses market intelligence to elaborate supplier strategies.\nExecutes supplier performance management strategy to monitors external partner’s performance against CAE requirements and contractual obligations with a perfect knowledge of existing contracts for products and services.\nDemonstrates abilities to deal efficiently with critical suppliers in the best interests of the company. Provides relevant feedback and information about the relationship.\nExpertly recognizes supplier development opportunities. Establishes a clear schedule for project delivery involving other relevant functions and external resources.\nIdentifies and conducts cross-functional cost reduction initiatives on sourced products and services\nProvides expert recommendations to internal stakeholders\nDisplay strong understanding of principles and techniques of spend analysis and cost optimization to communicate crucial information to all internal stakeholders.\nGlobal category management: Demonstrates strong understanding and application of Category Management standards and processes to deliver sustainable cost reductions and added value over time.\nMinimum Qualifications\nUniversity undergraduate degree (such as bachelor’s and B.Sc.) in a commerce or a related field of study.\nMin 5 years of relevant experience - Broad understanding of Procurement.
