You’ll work on impactful projects and turn ideas into reality while enjoying growth opportunities, teamwork, and a balanced work-life.\nDescription\nIn this role you’ll serve as the lead finance business partner for Global Technology & Products (GTP) and Allocation Functions, providing financial leadership, governance, and strategic support across multiple global functions. Responsible for financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, cost management, and the successful execution of enterprise-wide initiatives while acting as a trusted advisor to Finance leadership and operational stakeholders. \n\nFinancial Leadership & Team management\nLead and support two financial analysts responsible for GTP and allocation functions.\nProvide financial oversight of monthly actuals, forecasts, budgets, risks & opportunities, and financial reporting.\nReview and challenge assumptions to ensure forecast accuracy and financial discipline.\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and business partnership.\nServe as the right hand to the Manager, Finance Operations, supporting strategic priorities and organizational objectives.\nEnsure the delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful financial analyses to support decision-making.\nGTP Finance Leadership\nServe as the primary finance lead for GTP, including Engineering, Digital Engineering, Information Technology (IT), and Cybersecurity.\nPartner with Directors, VPs, and functional leaders to support strategic decision-making, workforce planning, and cost optimization initiatives.\nLead financial reviews and provide actionable insights to driven efficiency and business results.\nPrepare and deliver executive-level presentations and recommendations to Finance and operational leadership.\nAllocation Functions Ownership\nLead the financial management and governance of enterprise allocation functions.\nOversee allocation methodologies, governance processes, and cost recovery models.\nEnsure cost transparency, accountability, and alignment between support functions and business stakeholders.\nDrive continuous improvement in overhead allocation practices and cost containment initiatives.\nCloud Cost Governance & strategic cost management\nLead and coordinate the finance treatment and governance of growing cloud expenditures.\nPartner with Technology and Finance leaders to monitor spending trends, assess financial impacts, and support long-term investment decisions.\nDevelop financial analyses and recommendations related to cloud consumption, cost optimization, and funding strategies.\nStrategic initiatives & Executive support\nLead and support high-visibility global Finance and Technology initiatives, including confidential mandates and executive-level requests.\nServe as a key finance partner on strategic projects sponsored by Technology leadership, Finance leadership, and Executive Vice Presidents.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.\nMinimum of 8 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing / operational environment.\nExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel.\nBilingual (French-English).\nPreferred Qualifications\nCPA or CFA designation or in progress.\nExperience with Oracle and/or Powerbi.\nExperience as a people manager.\nStrong communication, relationship-building & interpersonal skills to work daily at all hierarchical levels.\nAbility to work Independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.\nProven problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify issues, develop recommendations, and lead solutions to implementation.\nCustomer oriented.\nBenefits\nGroup Insurance\nTelemedicine Employee and Family Assistance Program\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\nGroup RRSP\nCAE Pension Plan/Defined Benefit Plan\nSabbatical Leave\nFlex Time\nEnhanced Parental Leave\nAbout CAE\nAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
