You’ll work on impactful projects and turn ideas into reality while enjoying growth opportunities, teamwork, and a balanced work-life.\nDescription\nDetermination of the export classification of hardware, software and technology under relevant export control regulations (U.S.: ITAR, EAR and Canadian including Controlled Goods Regulations)\nAssist in the implementation and administration of export compliance procedures and processes\nManage projects and their related export activities, define export control requirements, and ensure compliance with U.S. and Canadian export control and sanctions regulations\nPrepare and submit export permit applications, licenses to the appropriate government authorities, and manage the associated recordkeeping\nCoordinate special projects and work closely with program managers, customers and suppliers to ensure compliance with export controls and sanctions\nCommunicate and assist in the development of all materials provided to CAE’s Export Control Officers worldwide regarding updates to export control regulations and procedures/processes\nReview and validate Know Your Customer (KYC) forms and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy\nPerform denied party screening and support the associated reporting\nBuild strong partnerships with Business Lines and work collaboratively across functional teams\nAssist in the implementation of export control rules within the IT framework\nConduct internal audits to ensure continued compliance\nMinimum Qualifications\nCollege degree with a minimum of 3 years experience in a related field\nExperienced in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, TEAMS, Power BI)\nWorking knowledge of US and Canadian export control and sanctions laws and regulations, including the Canadian Export and Imports Permits Act (EIPA) and Canada Controlled Goods Regulations (CGP), Canadian sanctions, the US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the US Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) Regulations\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in aerospace and/or defense industry\nStrong communication and organisational skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English\nInnovation/creativity in project and international management of processes \nIngenuity, initiative, interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure\nStrong analytical and organization skills\nDemonstrates problem-solving skills and willingness to participate in process improvement projects\nTime management skills, ability to multi tasks; autonomy and responsible attitude\nWillingness to take initiative in order to solve problems for local and international clients\nBenefits\nGroup Insurance\nTelemedicine Employee and Family Assistance Program\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\nGroup RRSP\nCAE Pension Plan/Defined Benefit Plan\nSabbatical Leave\nFlex Time\nEnhanced Parental Leave\nAbout CAE\nAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
