Working from approved storyboards, blueprints, and learning designs created by Instructional Designers (IDs) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), this role develops high-quality courseware and training materials that align with established standards, templates, and learning objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nDevelop and assemble training assets based on approved storyboards, blueprints, and learning designs.\nCreate and maintain training materials including presentations, learner guides, instructor materials, instructional videos, interactive learning tools, eLearning modules, and supporting documentation.\nBuild and publish courseware using approved authoring, content management, and delivery systems.\nDevelop content using Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Creative Cloud tools, and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise.\nApply content provided by Instructional Designers and Subject Matter Experts accurately and consistently.\nReview source materials to identify gaps, inconsistencies, or areas requiring clarification and escalate issues as appropriate.\nPerform quality assurance reviews to verify accuracy, completeness, functionality, and compliance with established standards.\nConduct functional testing of courseware, including navigation, media functionality, and assessments.\nCollaborate with Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts, instructors, and other stakeholders during review and revision cycles.\nSupport updates, enhancements, and sustainment activities for existing training materials.\nFollow established workflows, version-control practices, and documentation standards.\nContribute recommendations that support continuous improvement, template optimization, and content reuse.\nScope and Impact\nSupports training programs used across multiple countries and regions, including the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.\nWorks collaboratively with global stakeholders on a regular basis.\nMay travel to client or training sites up to approximately 10%.\nMinimum Qualifications\nVocational, technical, or undergraduate degree in Education, Training, Communications, Multimedia Development, Graphic Design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.\n3+ years of experience developing courseware, training content, eLearning, multimedia learning assets, or instructional materials.\nExperience developing content from approved instructional designs, storyboards, or blueprints.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint.\nExperience using Adobe Creative Cloud tools such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, or After Effects.\nExperience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and/or Rise.\nExperience conducting quality assurance reviews and functional testing of learning assets.\nStrong attention to detail and ability to maintain technical, visual, and instructional consistency.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a collaborative environment.\nAbility to travel up to 10% as required.\nAbility to work in an office and training-center environment, including extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer-based work.\nPreferred Qualifications\nUndergraduate degree in Education, Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Educational Technology, or a related discipline.\n5+ years of experience developing courseware or training solutions.\nKnowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.\nExperience developing training materials within aviation, aerospace, transportation, defense, or other highly regulated industries.\nExperience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS).\nExperience collaborating with Instructional Designers, Subject Matter Experts, and instructors within structured development environments.\nExperience using AI-enabled tools to support content development, quality improvement, workflow efficiency, or content analysis.\nBilingual proficiency in English and French.\nAbout CAE\nAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
