Join a purpose-driven organisation where bold ideas are encouraged, collaboration drives progress, and your growth fuels our shared success.\nRole Overview\nThe Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall management and coordination of maintenance and support personnel, maintenance training and development, supply support operations, budget management, and operational maintenance requirements of CAE’s training devices across multiple sites.\nThis role is critical to ensuring the successful delivery of maintenance and supply support services that enable end-user training outcomes within time, cost, quality, and regulatory requirements. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, maintain regulatory certifications, oversee operational performance, and ensure CAE meets its contractual obligations under the ASIST program.\nThis is an opportunity to lead a high-performing maintenance function supporting advanced synthetic training systems used in defence aviation training environments.\nDescription\nLead and coordinate maintenance and supply support operations across multiple sites to ensure training device availability and customer training success.\nManage maintenance resources, schedules, budgets and priorities to meet contractual, operational and regulatory requirements.\nEnsure training devices maintain certification and compliance with applicable aviation regulatory authorities including CASA, EASA, FAA and UK CAA.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance, quality, safety and operational performance.\nDevelop and lead a skilled workforce through training, performance management, coaching and succession planning.\nMonitor operational metrics, maintenance performance and costs, taking corrective action to achieve business and customer outcomes.\nMinimum Qualifications\nDemonstrated experience in a senior maintenance leadership or maintenance management role.\nExperience leading maintenance teams within highly regulated operational environments.\nStrong understanding of aviation maintenance compliance, certification and quality management systems.\nProven ability to manage budgets, resources, schedules and operational performance.\nExperience working with regulatory authorities and supporting audits, qualifications and requalifications.\nStrong people leadership, coaching and performance management skills.\nExcellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.\nAbility to work across multiple sites and priorities in a complex operational environment.\nAbility to work at our Homebush, NSW site in an on-site full-time capacity.\nAbility to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting flight simulation training devices or synthetic training systems.\nPrevious experience within Defence, aerospace or aviation training environments.\nTechnical qualifications in aviation maintenance, engineering or a related discipline.\nKnowledge of supply support and logistics operations.\nExperience managing geographically dispersed teams.\nLocation:\nHomebush, NSW\nYour role may involve some national travel.\nBenefits\nOpportunity to make a considerable impact on Australian defence and security.\nExciting career paths in a truly global business.\nAccess to a generous ADF Reserve Service Policy.\nWellness subsidy.\nGenerous Parental Leave.\nEmployee Share Scheme.\nFitness Passport.\nInsurance Cover.\n... and more!\nSecurity requirements\nAs the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible to obtain a Defence Security Clearance to work in this role.
