Supported by advanced training and cutting-edge technology, you’ll grow as an educator and find purpose in helping pilots excel, no matter the challenges they face.Description\nAs a Part-Time Simulator Flight Instructor I at CAE, you will support the next generation of pilots by delivering high-quality training within our ATP-CTP E170/190 program in Dallas. You will provide simulator-based and ground school instruction in accordance with regulatory standards, customer requirements, and CAE operating procedures.\nKey responsibilities include:\nDeliver instructor-led / Part 142 training to CAE customers.\nProvide ATP/CTP ground school and simulator training sessions on the E170/190 platform.\nConduct thorough pre- and post-flight simulator briefings in line with CAE standards.\nDeliver simulator instruction for licenses, type ratings, and certifications.\nEnsure accurate, comprehensive completion of client training records and seamless handover to other instructors.\nRecommend remedial training when necessary.\nRecord simulator usage and discrepancies following established procedures.\nTrack and maintain personal instructional qualifications to remain compliant and current.\nAct as a subject matter expert in curriculum and courseware development when required.\nAccept and complete examiner-related training as assigned by the Head of Training.\nServe as an invigilator during examinations\nMinimum Qualifications\nType rating on the E170/190 platform.\nUnrestricted FAA ATP certificate.\nAt least 2 years of experience as part of an FAA Part 121 or 135 program.\nAbility and willingness to work night shifts as required.\nBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.\nMinimum 2-5 years of relevant experience.\nSuccessful completion of all Airline Transport Pilot License written exams.\nMeets minimum instructor qualification and experience requirements of the applicable Regulatory Authority.\nWorking knowledge of relevant aviation regulations.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nStrong customer-service orientation.\nAbility to concentrate and perform effectively in a fast-paced training environment.\nAbility to adapt quickly to changes.\nFluency in English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExisting instructor qualification or rating issued by a Regulatory Authority.\nQualification meeting requirements for Simulator Instructor designation.\nAdditional A320 or B737 type rating is a plus.\nPhysical Requirements\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
