The position oversees program strategy, roadmap execution, and delivery of high-quality courseware that meets applicable regulatory standards and evolving customer needs. In addition to managing resources, vendors, and timelines, this role actively contributes to the courseware production process to support technical accuracy and instructional quality.\nKey responsibilities include:\nManage assigned training programs end-to-end, including portfolio roadmap execution, lifecycle management, backlog management, and alignment with business objectives.\nOversee and actively contribute to instructional design and courseware development, ensuring technical accuracy, instructional quality, and compliance with applicable regulatory standards.\nSupport program analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation activities throughout the training product lifecycle.\nPlan, schedule, and monitor development projects, making tactical decisions and balancing scope, quality, resources, and timelines.\nCoordinate internal teams, consultants, suppliers, and external vendors to support efficient and timely delivery.\nManage vendor statements of work (SOWs), deliverables, and quality acceptance requirements, and support contract negotiations.\nDevelop and manage implementation plans, including pilots, go-live activities, instructor enablement, and release planning.\nCollaborate with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), subject matter experts (SMEs), regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to validate content, maintain compliance, and support program success.\nLead cross-functional and globally diverse teams managing multiple projects simultaneously.\nPartner and communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels, including senior management, technical teams, and end users.\nMonitor project financials, performance indicators, and project status, and provide appropriate reporting to senior management.\nMaintain corporate governance and regional communications in support of internal stakeholder requirements.\nSupport customer-facing strategic initiatives and represent the company professionally with customers and external stakeholders.\nUse performance metrics, stakeholder feedback, and emerging best practices to identify and implement process improvements that enhance quality and operational effectiveness.\nIdentify program challenges and trends, facilitate solutions, and apply analytical and problem-solving skills to support program objectives.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, an aviation-related field, or a related discipline.\n5 to 8 years of relevant professional experience.\n3 to 5 years of experience in courseware design and development, including hands-on instructional design and courseware development.\n3 to 5 years of experience leading small teams and/or in product ownership.\nExperience managing multiple projects simultaneously and leading globally diverse teams.\nExperience with product ownership and backlog management, including epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.\nExperience with implementation planning, including pilots, go-live activities, and instructor enablement.\nExperience coordinating consultants, suppliers, or vendors, including statements of work, deliverables, quality acceptance, and contract negotiations.\nExperience working with Training and Development teams and delivering training products to global audiences and/or experience with formal adult learning development.\nExperience collaborating with subject matter experts to support technical accuracy and instructional quality.\nAbility to make tactical decisions and prioritize trade-offs among scope, quality, resources, and timelines.\nAbility to work and communicate effectively with multiple organizational levels, including senior management, technical staff, customers, and end users.\nStrong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.\nKnowledge of financial measures and key performance indicators (KPIs), including experience reporting project status to senior management.\nStrong analytical, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems and trends and develop effective solutions.\nStrong communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict-resolution skills.\nStrong attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and address changing program requirements and priorities.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and modern business productivity tools.\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong aviation domain knowledge, ideally gained through direct experience in aviation training, flight operations, or operational training support.\nFamiliarity with civil aviation, particularly aviation training.\nAgile and/or Product Ownership training.\nExperience using Agile project or work-management tools such as Monday.com, ClickUp, or Microsoft tools.\nExperience with authoring and media development tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Illustrator, After Effects, and Audition, and Figma.\nExperience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration and courseware packaging standards, including SCORM and xAPI.\nExperience with courseware testing tools such as SCORM Cloud.\nExperience creating and
