Work may be performed in the office, on-site, or in the field and may include supporting design-related activities.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nPerform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems.\nAssist in diagnosing and correcting issues on simulators and associated simulator systems.\nDiagnose and resolve routine technical issues on simulators and associated simulator systems.\nUtilize the maintenance management system to document and track maintenance activities.\nTrain technicians on foundational technical skills and maintenance procedures.\nComplete all designated training requirements.\nActively pursue ongoing professional development and technical training.\nPerform pre-flight and post-flight checks on simulators.\nPerform visual alignments and adjustments.\nRun, evaluate, and document Qualification Test Guide (QTG) results.\nAssist with simulator refurbishment projects and hardware modifications.\nLearn and comply with the CAE Quality Management System.\nProvide customer support and address customer needs in a timely manner.\nPerform logistics-related activities, including receiving parts, coordinating repairs, and conducting testing and validation activities.\nPerform housekeeping activities to maintain simulator readiness and operating conditions.\nComplete administrative tasks as required.\nSupport technical services activities and projects as required.\nMinimum Qualifications\nTwo-year technical diploma or equivalent combination of education and related technical training.\nMinimum of three (3) years of direct simulator experience, including at least one (1) year of simulator experience relevant to the assigned location.\nAbility to troubleshoot simulator systems to the system level across multiple simulator platforms.\nProficiency in the use of various testing and diagnostic equipment.\nAbility to interpret and utilize available diagnostic tools on multiple simulator types.\nAbility to perform preventive maintenance, pre-flight, and post-flight checks across the simulator fleet.\nAbility to perform in-depth visual adjustments and configurations on at least one visual system type.\nAbility to support refurbishment projects and hardware modification initiatives.\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nFluency in English.\nEligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Canadian Security Clearance.\nEligibility to obtain and maintain Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.\nEligibility to work in Canada as a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or holder of a valid work permit.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience in aircraft maintenance.\nExperience working with simulation devices and training systems.\nBenefits\nWe’ve designed flexible policies to promote well-being and growth, based on role-specific eligibility and requirements:\nFlexible Group Benefits\nPension plan\nEmployee stock purchase plan\nComprehensive health and wellness programs\nSupportive team and collaborative corporate culture\nAbout CAE\nAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
