If this sounds like an amazing opportunity for you, Our Doors are Open (watch here): desktop | mobile\nThe incumbent will support the following roles and responsibilities:\nDescription\nPerform routine technical tasks in a simulator, laboratory, office, plant, or field environment.\nReceive training in the various phases of laboratory, office, plant, and field technical work.\nLearn and perform preventive maintenance activities on simulators and associated simulator systems.\nAssist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and correcting issues on simulators and associated simulator systems.\nUtilize the maintenance management system to record, document, and track maintenance activities.\nComplete all assigned training and development activities.\nPerform pre-flight and post-flight checks on designated simulators.\nConduct basic visual alignments.\nExecute automated Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures.\nAssist with simulator refurbishment projects and hardware modifications.\nLearn and comply with the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.\nProvide customer service support and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.\nPerform housekeeping activities necessary to maintain simulator readiness and cleanliness.\nSupport logistics activities, including receiving parts, coordinating repairs, and conducting testing and validation.\nComplete administrative tasks as assigned.\nProvide operational support to the Technical Services team as required.\nMinimum Qualifications\nAssociate degree (2-year technical degree) in a technical discipline, or 4 years of experience in an electronics, avionics, or related technical field.\n0-2 years of relevant technical experience.\nAbility to work flexible schedules and adapt to changing shift requirements.\nAbility to interpret technical drawings, system prints, and schematics.\nProficiency in using electronic test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and logic analyzers.\nKnowledge of analog and digital electronic theory.\nComputer literacy, including familiarity with PC hardware, software, and computer system architecture.\nProficiency in soldering and circuit board repair techniques.\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to communicate effectively in English.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting simulation, training, aviation, electronics, or technical equipment environments.\nExperience using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).\nDemonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a technical environment.\nExperience performing preventative maintenance and equipment testin\nPhysical Efforts:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
