This role offers exposure to a wide range of modern simulators, systems, and equipment, providing opportunities for learning, development, and progression within the technical function.\nThis position operates on a 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern (2 day shifts followed by 2 night shifts) and includes a shift allowance.\nKey Responsibilities\nAssist in diagnosing and correcting problems on simulators and associated systems.\nLearn and perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks on simulator systems.\nUse the Maintenance Management System to record and track maintenance activities.\nPerform pre-flight and post-flight checks on all simulators.\nRun Qualification Test Guide (QTG) procedures.\nComplete required training activities.\nPerform basic visual system tasks, including visual alignment.\nAssist with refurbishment activities and hardware modifications.\nLearn and comply with the CAE Compliance Management System.\nProvide customer service support and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.\nPerform logistics duties including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation.\nConduct housekeeping tasks to maintain simulator conditions.\nComplete administrative tasks as required.\nSupport the technical services group as needed.\nComply with Health and Safety regulations in an aviation training environment.\nMinimum Qualifications\nTechnical College Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace/Aviation, or Computer Engineering, or at least 1 year of relevant experience in a technical field.\nEnglish language proficiency.\nAbility to work a rotating 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights).\nPreferred Qualifications\nGood knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.\nBasic understanding of avionics, motion, and visual systems.\nComputer literacy, including PC architecture and/or networking.\nUnderstanding of Health and Safety regulations.\nAbility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules.\nStrong motivation and attention to detail.\nDemonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision and show initiative.\nCustomer-focused approach with the ability to manage sensitive situations professionally.\nBenefits\nWe've designed flexible policies to promote well-being and growth, based on role-specific eligibility and requirements:\nPermanent position.\nShift allowance.\nLocation\nRome, Italy\nAbout Us\nAt CAE, we equip people in critical roles with the expertise and solutions to create a safer world.
