This role provides leadership and direction for contract instructors, support personnel, and operations staff involved inmaintainingand operating Aircrew Training Devices (ATDs) and delivering aircrew instruction. The Site Lead serves as the principal liaison between CAE and the customer’s Program Office, ensuring contract compliance, operational effectiveness, training throughput, and a safe and secure working environment. The position also coordinates scheduling, manages quality assurance programs, supports configuration requirements, andrepresentsthe company in day-to-day base and community interactions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nProvide leadership and oversight forall on-siteacademic and simulator training operations.\n\nSupervise and evaluate instructors and support personnel responsible formaintainingATDs and conducting aircrew training.\n\nAct as the primary liaison between the government Program Office/Quality Assurance Representative (PO/QAR) and the CAE Program Manager.\n\nServe as the site-level contract representative and key point of contact for the USAF customer.\n\nEnsure all site operationscomply withcontract requirements, policies, and standards.\n\nMaintain positive working relationships with customers and supportstrong communicationchannels.\n\nEnsuretimelysubmission of monthly deviceutilizationreports and other required reporting.\n\nEstablish and upholdappropriate safetyand security standards for all training and maintenance activities.\n\nParticipate in and plan conferences, meetings, and discussions with USAF customers.\n\nEnsure training throughput aligns with fiscal year contractual requirements.\n\nManage yearly, monthly, and weekly training schedules for academic and simulator training.\n\nProvide oversight for personnel training programs and ensure the availability of necessary resources.\n\nObserve and evaluate instructor performance in both classroom and simulator environments.\n\nManage the site’s quality assurance program to ensure compliance with AS9100D standards.\n\nSubmit required data monthly to meet CDRL documentation requirements.\n\nAttend scheduled weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with CAE and customer stakeholders.\n\nRepresent CAE in local base communities through professional engagement, community activities, and coordination efforts.\n\nCoordinate with the Training System Support Center (TSSC) Managerregardingfacilities and support requirements.\n\nQualifications and Education Requirements\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.\n\nMinimum of four years ofpreviousflight operations and/or flight training management experience.\n\nMinimum of eight years total flying experience, including five years of military experience.\n\nAt least two years of flight instructor and training management experience.\n\nDue to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.\n\nPreferred Skills\nMaster’s degree preferred.\n\nExperience managing training operations in a military or simulator-based environment.\n\nExperience supervising multidisciplinary teams.\n\nSecurity Responsibilities\nMustcomply withall company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval.
