Our newest business aviation training center in Vienna, Austria, is purpose-built to deliver advanced, simulator-based pilot training. The 8,000-square-metre facility is designed for growth-supporting up to nine Full Flight Simulators-and currently operates six state-of-the-art devices, including the G550, Global 7500, Global 6000, Challenger 3500, Pilatus PC-24, and Phenom 100/300.\nThe Role\nWe are looking for full-time Synthetic Flight & Ground School Instructors to bring their aviation experience into a world-class training environment. You will deliver simulator-based flight instruction and elements of classroom training, supporting pilots throughout their development.\nWe welcome candidates from a variety of aviation backgrounds, and previous experience on a specific Vienna aircraft platform is not required. Your experience and qualifications will help determine the most appropriate platform and training pathway.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDeliver high-quality simulator and classroom-based pilot training\nConduct pre- and post-session briefings and debriefings\nObserve and evaluate trainee performance, decision-making and application of procedures\nAdapt training delivery to different experience levels and learning needs\nEnsure compliance with applicable training standards and requirements\nMaintain accurate and timely trainee records and training documentation\nSupport continuous improvement of training curricula and courseware\nDeliver elements of initial and recurrent ground school\nProvide seat support for individual clients when required\nSupport the Lead Instructor and Training Team as required\nMinimum Qualifications\nHold or have held an EASA Licence\n1500+ hours total multi-pilot time.\nStrong attention to detail, especially in training delivery and record-keeping.\nAbility to tailor training sessions to diverse trainee backgrounds and skill levels.\nInterest in mentoring and developing industry professionals.\nBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and internet-based applications.\nHigh-level English language reading, speaking, and communication skills.\nAble to commit to a roster pattern in a full-time position\nMust live within commutable distance of Schwechat\nWillingness to enter into a training bond (value dependent on existing experience and ratings)\nPreferred Experience\n500+ hours single pilot aircraft time (PC-24 instructor candidates)\nExperience creating a welcoming, productive learning environment for business aviation clients.\nDemonstrated success mentoring or developing colleagues.\nPrevious exposure to synthetic or simulator-based instruction.\nWhat we offer\nRelocation support for candidates outside of Austria\nOccupational Private Pension Plan\nGroup Accident Insurance\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)\nEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)\nCAErefer\nMyClubs\nOnsite German course\nInternal career progression opportunities (e.g., Examiner, Lead Instructor, Training Manager).\nLI-JK1\nAbout CAE\nAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
