The targeted end-user base includes the air, naval, and land, with a key focus on developing air and naval Rear Crew training opportunities.\nIn close collaboration with CAE’s worldwide network of domain experts and industry partners, the Training Solutions Specialist help definition the tactical element of training solutions to meet the customer needs, helping to shape and influence requirements for complete training programs that can include individual, team and collective training.\nThe Training Solutions Specialist II is responsible to ensure that the tactical training solution delivers state-of-the-art and cost-effective training that is optimized to meet customer requirements throughout the entire life cycle of the training program. These solutions integrate the full-spectrum of the training continuum, from academic and simulation-based synthetic training up to a full live-virtual-constructive (LVC) environment that can support complex immersive mission rehearsal scenarios.\nMANDATORY FOR ALL: Hold or able to attain NV1 security clearance\nSkills\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nAttention to detail\nProactive and adaptable to rapidly changing priorities\nStrong team skills\nCustomer focused\nBusiness acumen and experience in corporate environments an asset\nQualifications\nEssential Education:\nCertificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE 40116 / 40122)\nMilitary Air Mission or Naval Rear Crew Graduate Certificate\nEssential Experience / Knowledge:\n2+years of training development or Instructional Design experience preferred, other experience will be considered.\nMinimum of 4 years specific experience in the development and/or delivery of training programs targeting air and naval domain Rear Crew roles (e.g., Sensor Operators, TACCO, Navigators, Weapon Systems Officers, etc.) is highly desirable\nAirborne or naval sensor qualifications on a minimum of 2 sensors\nExperience working with the Australian Quality Training Framework (AQTF)\nHighly Desirable:\nEducation & Experience\n2 years’ experience in training development\nExperience in training development in a military aviation or naval platform environment\nExperience in military rear mission crew and/or sensor operator experience\nDemonstrated understanding of ADF training policies and procedures (SADL))\nKnowledge of computer-based learning training development activities\nDiploma of Vocational Education TAE 50122\nAvailability to travel domestically or internationally up to 10% of the time\nCompetencies:\nHigh level Interpersonal skills (internal and external customers)\nProficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint\nPlanning and Prioritising\nAcceptance of responsibility\nDemonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision\nExcellent written & oral communication skills, including technical writing\nJudgement\nAbility to cope with pressure\nAbout CAE\nAt CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world a safer place.
