You will work closely with different teams to understand their challenges and priorities and translate them into clear technical solutions and projects. You will lead and support the software development team, set priorities, and ensure that development work is perfectly aligned with business requirements. In addition, you will ensure seamless integration of information systems of acquired companies.\nAlongside development, you will oversee the wider IT function, including internal IT support, external IT providers, cybersecurity, and core business systems. This is a broad leadership role for someone who can combine technical knowledge with strong business understanding and take ownership of the company's IT environment.\nThe Offer\nMinimum of 7 years of experience in IT & Software Development, engineering, or a similar technical field, with experience leading developers or technical teams.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Business & IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.\nStrong understanding of software development and the ability to work effectively with developers and technical teams.\nStrong business understanding, with the ability to understand business processes and translate business requirements into practical technology solutions.\nExperience managing external IT providers and overseeing areas such as IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business systems.\nStrong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.\nAbility to work independently, take ownership of the IT function, and drive projects and priorities forward.\nLiving in or near Amsterdam.\nDisclaimer\nAs part of our hiring process, you will be invited to our office to meet the team and your prospective manager.
