Also to assist the beverage servers to assure quality guest service in a timely manner and a favorable gaming experience.\n Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, fun, and friendly environment for guests and employees.\n\nFollows See, Say, Smile program at all times\n\nProvides superior guest service, interacts positively with guests and employees, and has the ability to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions. Works effectively and courteously with fellow employees.\n\nPrepares drinks accurately and correctly for patrons at bar and for cocktail staff.\n\nSafe distribution of alcohol. Follows TIPS guidelines for serving alcohol responsibly.\n\nResponsible for cash bank and follows sound cash handling practices.\n\nEnsure the safety and security of employees and customers.\n\nResponsible to have knowledge of patron limitations of alcohol consumption and company policy and procedure regarding serving alcohol responsibly.\n\nHas a thorough knowledge of all special events and promotional activities. Assists guests with all reasonable requests.\n\nBe a customer experience owner, act in ways that will surprise and delight our guests. Leave guests with positive feelings about our property and establish/maintain relationships with them. Approach each situation with a “yes we can” attitude, every guest every time.\n\nComply with our drug & alcohol free workplace. Subject to post offer, for cause and post-accident drug tests.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS\nAbility to use all equipment associated with the position.\n\nCasino environment exposed to bright lights, noise, and smoke and varied temperatures.\n\nMay include a boat and/or floating barge and a High rise hotel.\n\nWalking 10%, Standing 40%, Bending 30%, Lifting 10% (up to 50 lbs.), Pushing/pulling 10% (up to 150lbs.).\n\nAbility to be at work on time as scheduled which may include nights, weekends, and holidays\n\n A high school or GED equivalent preferred.\n\nOne year experience in bartending or bar back preferred.\n\nKnowledge of all bar equipment.\n\nKnowledge of relevant laws and regulations and gaming laws.\n\nAble to handle situations that may arise due to intoxication.
