Promote Family Style Service through actions and positive attitude.\nHOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY\nDeal with high-volume customer interactions and be consistently outgoing, upbeat, and cheerful.\nBuild guest relations throughout every shift by talking with customers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, and inviting them back.\nRead recipes, gather all necessary items, and accurately prepare all food items according to established measurements and recipes. \nAbility to operate highly specialized cooking equipment that may include slicer, steamer, deep fryer, ovens, broiler, grill, mixer, kettle, griddles, woks, wood burning grill , wood burning rotisseries, proof box, and smoker.\nRequires reading and math skills for specialty recipes and recipe conversions.\nAbility to read, write, speak and understand basic English in order to read recipes and communicate with other team members.\nActively participates with staff to cook, prepare, dish-up and assemble all food outlets.\nAdheres to control procedure for food costs and quality.\nEncourage and abide by all health codes and hand washing guidelines.\nPrepares all food items according to specialty recipes and menu to ensure consistency of product to the guest. \nPrepare mise en place items for preparations to coincide with menus. \nPrepare compound sauces and derivatives. \nEnsure consistent product delivery to the customer. \nCheck station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness. \nPerform all assigned side work to include replenishing/restocking work station with supplies. \nPrepare written requisitions for supplies and food items for production in the work station. \nAssist other staff when needed. \nHave complete knowledge of all casino events and promotional activities, and assist as needed.\nKeep work area in a clean and orderly manner.\nAdhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and empower and require others to do the same. \nHandle routine customer complaints and incidents, and exhibit the appropriate discretion to identify situations requiring the attention of supervisory personnel - seek to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.\nMust be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.\nAssist in maintaining a spotless environment.\nPerform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.\n ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS\nAbility to push and pull up to 50 pounds\nAbility to lift and carry objects up to 40 pounds\nAbility to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively\nSafely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipment\nAscend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period\nMust be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period\nAbility to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment\nRequired to be able to taste and smell food items to insure quality and flavor levels.\n WHAT YOU WILL NEED\nMust be 21 years of age or older\nProficient in English verbal and written\nProficient with char broiler, pizza oven, sauté station, wok station, flat top grill, commercial steamer, steam table, steam jacket kettle, deep fryer, broaster, slicer, convection oven, pots and pans, miscellaneous cutlery, tub cart, trash compactor, garbage disposal, dishwasher and sanitizer, cleaning materials, wet mops, brooms, telephone and desktop computer. \nFlexible to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays\nA high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.\nCulinary School or certification preferred. Six-year minimum experience in food preparation and food knowledge applicable to the food specialty. Ability to work the line in different locations.\nKnowledge of various cooking methods, such as roasting, frying, sautéing and grilling.
