# Utility Porter - Stewards - (Paris LV)

Responsible for trash removal from kitchen areas and heavy cleaning functions. Will clean all high areas in the kitchens and outdoor stewarding functions. Provides general assistance to other stewarding employees as needed (and time permitting) in their duties to ensure all food preparation areas are maintained to set standards. Follow all applicable safety precautions. Ensure that all kitchen trash is removed from the area and disposed of properly. Is always appropriately groomed and wears the uniform provided. Notifies department management of needed repair work in the kitchen area. Completes all general cleaning functions requiring ladder access. Maintains their assigned kitchen area in accordance with county health department and hotel standards. Ensure that food service supplies are properly maintained in accordance with county health department and hotel standards. Take garbage, trash, and recyclables from kitchen areas to disposal sites. Clean kitchen loading/receiving dock with power wash, daily. Complete power washing of equipment outdoors. Complete sweeping and mopping of kitchen floors. Assist other stewarding employees in their duties with regard to kitchen maintenance
