Motivate team members by fostering teamwork, team member engagement, and open communication. \nPrepares and/or assists in the preparation of annual budget and operation forecast; prepares regular and special reports; maintains necessary records and files. \nAssures optimum guest service through the delivery of excellent customer service. \nWorks effectively with all departments assuring efficient security support is provided when needed. \nResearch and formulates policies and procedures. \nConducts in-depth confidential investigations as deemed necessary to protect the assets, reputation and business integrity of the company, or as directed by the Legal staff or senior management. \nResearch, examines, formulates and presents in-depth analysis and reports (written/oral) for senior and corporate management regarding the successes, challenges, and opportunities necessary to achieve optimum guest service, asset protection and business integrity. \nEstablishes and maintains a progressive and empowered work force. \nTrains, counsels and coaches assigned personnel in the performance of their duties; prepares and presents Performance Appraisal Reviews. \nRecommends and/or approves changes in the department, including hiring, promotion, demotion and termination of personnel. \nRecommend wage and salary adjustments within established guidelines. \nMaintains professional skills by staying abreast of current technical developments and participation in developmental programs available within and outside the company. \nSpends time interviewing, selecting, and training employees. \nProvides for safety and security. \nHandles employees' complaints or grievances. \nRecommends disciplinary action or disciplines employees. \nMonitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws. \nParticipates in the development of key assumptions and critical documents. \nContinually evaluates and monitors Harrah’s Northern California’s activity and financial performance to ensure that goals and plans are achieved. \nCommunicate both written and orally with the department and Senior Management \nAttend Hearings at Federal and State Courts for Guest Liability Claims. \nLiaison with Fire Department, Health Department, EPA, Sheriff’s Department and local police departments. \nPossess a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Works, Excel, Power Point and Publisher Programs. \nMeets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies. \nAll team members will follow the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy. It is the expectation that every team member, front or back of house, should proactively seek out opportunities to greet guests and their fellow team members daily. specific details of incidents and people. \nMust be able to give court testimony when necessary and write detailed reports. \nMust be able to work overtime and work different shifts on short notice. \nMust be able to read, write, speak and understand English. \nMust be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust. \n Must be at least 21 years of age. \nCollege degree preferred. \nFive or more years’ experience in Security/Law Enforcement and Investigations required with at least two years in a Supervisory capacity. \nKnowledge of Oklahoma Gaming regulations preferred. \nMust possess skills in conducting investigations, as well as knowledge of gaming regulations and company internal controls. \nA strong background in law enforcement and gaming, with demonstrated business, communication, organization, and leadership skills is required. \nMust possess knowledge of, and working relationships with, local, state, and federal law enforcement and gaming control authorities. \nResponsible for employee accident reports for the property. \nCreate, implement, and coordinate safety programs. \nEstablishes and maintains effective working relationships with departments. \nMaintains confidentiality of information. \nComputer experience to include knowledge of Word and Excel preferred. \nAbility to work with internal management and staff, as well as outside support, to develop and maintain a continuing atmosphere of peak guest and employee comfort and safety. \nDemonstrated ability to prioritize and view the big picture, a sense for guest service and high degree of common sense. \nMust be able to obtain Alcohol Awareness, First Aid and CPR certifications. \nMust present a well-groomed
