This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, ownership of quality and technical excellence, and the ability to drive high-quality deliverables that ensure customers have an unparalleled experience across our digital platforms.\n What You Will Do: \nBe the quality champion for your team, owning the end-to-end validation of features, including requirements definition, in-depth test planning, and quality signoff.\n\nPartner with the Tech Lead to define automation plans and test strategies for large projects, and help the team find ways to deliver incrementally for larger projects.\n\nCraft in-depth test plans and maintain robust automation frameworks for testing APIs, mobile applications (iOS and Android), and desktop to ensure reliable releases.\n\nDrive non-functional testing (NFT) for your team and manage load testing for large features, participating hands-on in performance and load testing efforts.\n\nBe the owner of your test suite. Actively monitor automation results, address failures and issues regularly, and continuously fine-tune runners and framework performance.\n\nBuild, maintain, and optimize test pipelines within CI/CD workflows, ensuring developers receive fast feedback on the test results of their changes.\n\nCoach developers on unit and integration testing.\n\nParticipate in UAT and provide suggestions for improvement across the application.\n\nProactively identify risks, advocate for testing best practices, and address gaps in automation coverage. Consider the impact of work across multiple teams and proactively manage issues.\n\nIdentify and drive new and better ways of working, and consistently achieve project goals while supporting the team in overcoming obstacles to deliver results.\n\nRegularly demonstrate new automation tests with engineering and partner with the team to improve the test suite. Raise defects and advocate for their resolution in team triage sessions.\n\nProvide support for internal tools and frameworks, contributing to the broader Automation QA (AQA) strategy across the organization.\n\nParticipate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design and implementation of high-quality, scalable, testable systems.\n\nLeadership & Collaboration: \nFoster strong relationships within the team and with cross-functional partners.\n\nInspire and motivate engineers by embodying the company values and supporting them in their development.\n\nCommunicate effectively with a cross-functional audience, and interpret, add to, and execute against cross-functional plans.\n\nManage projects with team members in a collaborative and open-minded manner, facilitating teamwork and ensuring team members are engaged and motivated.\n\nUse feedback to continuously improve and support others in their development.\n\n5+ years of progressive experience as a QA Automation Engineer or SDET in an Agile environment, including demonstrated technical leadership.\n\nAbility to start something from scratch and then explain and teach it to others.\n\nVery strong knowledge of Selenium/Appium behavior, with proven expertise in mobile (iOS/Android), API, and UI automation.\n\nAble to inspect a UI automation framework and reverse engineer it enough to contribute tests, and able to inspect a UI framework setup and fine-tune runners, performance, and reliability.\n\nAble to conduct advanced interrogation of APIs via manual tools, and write scripts in a programming language to link API calls together and verify fields or perform similar-level tests.\n\nAbility to stand up simple UI-based load testing scenarios and manage load testing for large features;
