That is how we have grown exponentially.\nRole Overview\nThe Commissioning (Cx) Manager is responsible for end-to-end site commissioning leadership and execution of large-scale, mission-critical Data Centre projects. This role provides strategic and operational oversight of mechanical, electrical, and commissioning activities from mobilization through client handover.\nThe position requires strong expertise in hyperscale or enterprise Data Center environments, ensuring that all site activities are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Tier-level performance standards. The Senior Commissioning Manager serves as the primary on-site authority and is accountable for multi-site coordination, commissioning team performance, stakeholder alignment, and commissioning readiness across projects.\nKey Responsibilities:\nSite Leadership\nLead and oversee the commissioning of multiple Data Center commissioning sites.\nEstablish standardized site execution strategies aligned with corporate and client objectives.\nPrepare Commissioning implementation plans/ Commissioning management plan.\nProvide leadership to Site Managers, Construction Managers, and commissioning teams.\nEnsure consistency in safety, quality, and commissioning delivery standards across all project locations.\nMission Critical Project Execution \nDirect execution of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), and associated commissioning activities for hyperscale Data Centers.\nEnsure critical systems achieve reliability, redundancy, and resilience targets prior to energization.\nEnforce structured commissioning processes including Level 0-5 commissioning where applicable.\nDrive readiness for Integrated Systems Testing (IST) and final client acceptance.\n Critical Infrastructure Oversight\nOversee installation, testing, and commissioning of:\nHV/LV distribution systems and substations\nUninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems\nAutomatic Transfer Switches (ATS)\nEmergency Diesel Generators (EDG) and load bank testing\nBattery energy storage systems\nChilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC units, and cooling systems\nBMS / EPMS integration\nHeat Load testing\nChiller plant management systems\nPower quality monitoring and analysis\nEnsure systems meet uptime, redundancy and SLA requirements.\n Safety & Compliance Governance\nChampion a zero-harm safety culture aligned with OSHA (or equivalent) and regulatory requirements.\nEnsure full compliance with statutory approvals, electrical inspectorate requirements, and local authority regulations.\nConduct site audits/inspections and implement corrective actions where required.\nStakeholder & Client Management\nAct as senior on-site representative for clients, consultants, and hyperscale operators.\nLead high-level coordination meetings and provide manager-level reporting on progress, risks, and mitigation plans.\nAlign all stakeholders on commissioning deliverables, energization milestones, and go-live readiness.\nSchedule, Risk & Change Management\nDrive project execution in line with master program milestones.\nIdentify cross-site risks, resource gaps, and schedule conflicts.\nCollaborate with Project Directors and Commercial teams to manage scope variations, claims, and cost impacts.\nImplement recovery plans where project timelines are at risk.\nCommercial & Performance Accountability\nMonitor team performance, productivity, and adherence to our service contracts.\nOversee budget control at site level in coordination with the regional teams.\nValidate milestone completions tied to payment and commissioning achievement.\nReporting & Governance\nProvide structured weekly and monthly reporting to senior leadership.\nEnsure documentation, certifications, and as-built records are complete prior to handover.\nDrive lessons learned and continuous improvement across national projects.\n Required Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s or Post Graduation Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering\n15 + years of experience in construction/commissioning of mission-critical facilities.\nProven experience delivering hyperscale or enterprise Data Centers in India or internationally.\nExperience managing multi-site or Pan India project portfolios preferred.\nStrong understanding of Tier standards (Uptime Institute or equivalent frameworks).\nDeep technical expertise in critical power and cooling infrastructure.\nStrong knowledge of power quality analysis and reliability testing.\nDemonstrated leadership managing large multidisciplinary teams.\nStrong contractual, commercial, and change management understanding.\nExcellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.\nKey Competencies\nStrategic
