If you have strong control valve planning expertise, control valve maintenance experience, and proficiency with SAP and Primavera P6, and are looking for your next career move, apply now.Job Description\nWe are looking for a Control Valve Planner to develop turnaround work scopes, create detailed control valve maintenance and repair work packages, coordinate materials and resources, and support outage execution activities. This position will be full-time contract and hybrid inPort Arthur, TX.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop and coordinate control valve turnaround and maintenance plans\n\nCreate detailed work packages, including P&IDs, BOMs, procedures, photos, QC requirements, and safety documentation\n\nPerform field walks and valve surveys to verify scope and identify required work\n\nReview valve specifications, location plans, and test/work packages for field execution\n\nOrganize materials, expedite parts, obtain quotes, and ensure equipment availability\n\nCreate planning activities and schedules using SAP, Primavera P6, and planning templates\n\nSupport outage execution with daily schedule updates and progress tracking\n\nCollaborate with Planning, Scheduling, Engineering, Logistics, Purchasing, Finance, Operations, and Quality teams\n\nSupport client’s Management of Change process and maintain required project documentation\n\nComplete closeout activities and documentation following project execution\n\nWhat You'll Need\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma or GED\n\n5+ years of experience as a Control Valve Planner\n\n5+ years of Control Valve Technician maintenance experience and/or control valve maintenance planning experience\n\nAbility to read and interpret P&IDs, valve specifications, location plans, and BOMs\n\nExperience preparing, reviewing, and QA/QCing work packages\n\nUnderstanding of preventive maintenance programs and work package development\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook), SAP, and Primavera P6\n\nStrong communication, planning, organization, and teamwork skills\n\nAbility to work independently with minimal supervision\n\nActive TWIC card\n\nWillingness to travel up to 25-35% as project needs require\n\nAbility to work a standard 40-hour planning schedule and a 7-days/12-hours turnaround execution schedule\n\nPreferred:\nPrevious turnaround planning experience within the petrochemical, refinery, industrial gas, or related process industries\n\nExperience supporting control valve overhauls and outage execution activities\n\nFamiliarity with Cleopatra planning software\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field\n\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards\n\nAbility to perform field walks at industrial facilities and turnaround sites\n\nAbility to wear required PPE, including hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and FRC clothing\n\nAbility to work in industrial plant environments and travel between sites as needed\n\nAbility to conduct repetitive computer-based tasks utilizing a keyboard, mouse, and monitor\n\nReasonable accommodation statement\nIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to  (888) 824 - 8111.\nEEO Statement\nIt is the policy of Computer Aid, Inc.(CAI) not to discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, marital status, genetic information, disability or because he or she is a protected veteran.
