We are looking for a qualified Senior Business Analyst for a full-time, 12 month contract opportunity that is hybrid in Towson, MD. The selected candidate will assess, develop, enhance, and implement technology solutions in support of County agencies. The position will primarily focus on the analysis, improvement, and implementation of Public Safety systems and business processes.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDevelop functional/non-functional system requirements using documented business requirements.\nWork with development staff and/or vendors to create prototype designs for medium to large risk projects.\nCreate detailed unit/system testing scripts based on functional requirements\nFacilitate user acceptance testing processes as required\nAssess and develop recommendations for process improvements and technology solutions for County agencies\nCapture, consolidate, and communicate information from the Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)\nResponsible for the high-level design and integration of software development by effectively partnering with business users, project managers and application developers\nAnalyze existing business processes and data flows to develop system designs, delivery roadmaps and integrations to other systems\nConduct in-depth analysis of County systems, operations, and procedures. Work with County users to define system requirements and resolve problems. Translate client requirements into highly specified system design documents. Work with staff to coordinate system design and implementation requirements\nPerform full life cycle development of systems. Assess business opportunities, define problems and identify business solutions.
