If you have SQL Server administration expertise, Windows Server administration experience, and high availability/disaster recovery knowledge and are looking for your next career move, apply now.Job Description\nWe are looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to provide expert-level SQL Server database administration, performance tuning, security management, backup and recovery planning, disaster recovery support, and Windows Server administration for critical enterprise systems. This position will be Full-Time and Onsite in Little Rock, Arkansas.\nEmployees are expected to work onsite 5 days per week, with availability to provide 24/7 support as needed.\nOnly work authorizations that will not require sponsorship now or in the future will be considered.\nWhat You'll Do\nInstall, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server 2022 environments, including service packs and cumulative updates\nPerform routine database administration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities\nManage SQL Server Agent jobs, monitor error logs and event logs, and proactively resolve database issues\nUtilize SQL Server native tools and services including SQL Server Profiler, Index Tuning Advisor, SQL Server Configuration Manager, Extended Events, Performance Monitor, and Dynamic Management Views\nAdminister SQL Server security, auditing, authentication, encryption, and compliance controls\nDevelop and maintain database backup, recovery, and retention processes to achieve business RPO and RTO objectives\nCreate, test, and maintain disaster recovery plans and recovery procedures\nPerform database performance tuning, T-SQL optimization, and ETL process support\nSupport SQL Server high availability solutions including Always On Availability Groups and AWS-based HA architectures\nMonitor and support very large databases (VLDBs) and high-volume transactional and batch processing systems\nManage Linked Servers, MSDTC, Service Broker, system databases, health checks, and SQL Server policies\nPerform capacity planning activities and manage database storage utilization across SQL Server and AWS storage platforms\nAdminister Windows Failover Cluster Services and clustered storage environments\nBuild, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Servers and AWS EC2 instances\nUtilize PowerShell automation for administrative and operational tasks\nInstall and manage endpoint protection solutions and maintain server roles and features\nSupport application, web, file, and FTP servers as required\nParticipate in on-call support and provide 24-hour production support when necessary\nCollaborate with infrastructure, application support, security, and business teams to ensure reliable system operations\nWhat You'll Need\nRequired:\n4+ years of hands-on SQL Server database administration experience with SQL Server 2022, SQL Server 2019, SQL Server 2017, or SQL Server 2016\nExperience installing, upgrading, patching, and maintaining SQL Server environments\nStrong knowledge of SQL Server security, auditing, encryption, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery practices\nExperience with SQL Server performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting\nAdvanced T-SQL development and optimization skills\nExperience supporting SQL Server high availability technologies, including Always On Availability Groups\nExperience managing large-scale or mission-critical database environments\n3+ years of Windows Server administration experience\nExperience building and maintaining Windows Servers and AWS EC2 instances\nExperience with Windows Failover Clustering and clustered environments\nProficiency with PowerShell administration and automation\nStrong understanding of server roles, features, and .NET Framework components\nRelevant technical certifications\nAvailability to provide 24-hour support as needed\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nPreferred:\nExperience with FAST GenTax / DS-VS architecture and application maintenance\nKnowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud computing concepts\nExperience with cloud storage, backup, and recovery solutions\nFamiliarity with security standards including PUB1075, FIPS, and PII requirements\nActive Directory administration experience, including GPOs, DNS, FQDN, and SPN management\nFirewall administration and maintenance experience\nExperience troubleshooting email, SMTP, and proxy servers\nWeb services development or support experience\nExperience supporting government tax, revenue, or regulatory systems\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards\nAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor\nMust be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person\nSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.\nReasonable accommodation statement\nIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to  (888) 824 -
