This position will be full-time and remote.\nWhat You’ll Do\nWill work hands-on with AI models, automation frameworks, and support tooling to reduce manual tasks, streamline incident management, and enable faster product iteration\n\nThe role requires a strong engineering background, experience with LLM-based automation, and a passion for using modern tools such as Claude, AWS Bedrock, and Microsoft Copilot to transform support operations\n\nCollaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, Analysts, Engineers, and Lab teams across Manila and Miramar\n\nDesign, develop, and deploy automation solutions that improve application support processes, reduce manual workload, and enhance system reliability\n\nBuild AI-powered tools and workflows using platforms such as Claude, AWS Bedrock, Copilot Studio, and other LLM-supporting frameworks\n\nImplement intelligent monitoring, anomaly detection, and automated remediation for shipboard applications\n\nCreate scripts, services, and integrations to support automated testing, diagnostics, triage, and reporting\n\nPartner with the Product Health team to identify opportunities for automation across incidents, alerts, log analysis, and routine support tasks\n\nBuild tools that help support engineers and shipboard IT teams resolve issues faster\n\nCollaborate on root-cause investigations and help implement permanent, automated solutions\n\nWork closely with the Manila and Miramar Lab teams to automate lab workflows, deployments, environment resets, and data preparation\n\nEnsure automation solutions are fully tested, validated, and compatible with shipboard environments\n\nWork with product managers, shipboard technology teams, and engineering stakeholders to define requirements and deliver solutions\n\nParticipate in design reviews, sprint ceremonies, and product planning\n\nShare knowledge and mentor team members on AI and automation best practices\n\nWhat You’ll Need\nRequired:\n3+ years of experience in software engineering, automation engineering, or AI engineering\n\nHands-on experience developing solutions using one or more LLM/AI platforms such as: Claude (Anthropic), AWS Bedrock, Microsoft Copilot / Copilot Studio\n\nStrong experience with Python, JavaScript/Node.js, or similar languages used in AI workflows and automation\n\nExperience building APIs, integrations, and automation workflows\n\nStrong troubleshooting skills and comfort working with product support teams\n\nExperience with observability tools, incident management tooling, or application support environments\n\nBackground working in agile product teams\n\nExperience with automation frameworks (CI/CD, test automation, workflow automation)\n\nUnderstanding of shipboard or distributed operational environments is a plus\n\nPhysical Demands\nAbility to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards\n\nSedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.\n\nAbility to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitoring\n\nReasonable accommodation statement\nIf you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to  (888) 824 -
