Vendor Management\nIdentify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for raw materials, packaging, spares, and indirect materials.\nConduct vendor audits in coordination with Quality and Technical teams.\nDevelop strategic vendor relationships to secure competitive pricing and supply assurance.\nMonitor supplier performance on quality, cost, reliability, and service.\n3. Cost Optimization\nDevelop cost reduction strategies through alternate sourcing, negotiation, and long-term contracts.\nSupport localization or indigenization of imported refractory raw materials.\nAnalyze market trends, price fluctuations, and risks related to key commodities.\n4. Coordination & Compliance\nWork closely with Production, PPC, Quality, and Maintenance to forecast and plan material requirements.\nEnsure procurement activities adhere to company SOPs, compliance norms, and statutory guidelines.\nReview and maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and records.\nEnsure REACH compliance, MSDS documentation, and regulatory approvals for imported materials.\n5. Inventory & Logistics Support\nCoordinate with stores and logistics for inventory levels, lead times, and critical material availability.\nSupport inbound logistics planning for domestic and imported materials.\nMonitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory and initiate corrective actions.\n6.
