Accountabilities\nMaintenance\nPerform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and plant assets to ensure reliable and efficient operations.\n\nManufacture fabricated bake oven block frames, refurbish existing precast moulds and construct brand-new moulds as required.\n\nPerform routine maintenance on precast mixer blades and all equipment across the entire precast production line to guarantee continuous manufacturing stock supply of precast components.\n\nEquipment Breakdown Troubleshooting & Vendor Coordination\nLiaise and coordinate with mechanical and electrical service providers for complex equipment failures.\n\nIndependently diagnose and fix minor equipment malfunctions on-site;\n\nArrange third-party technicians to resolve major technical issues to reduce unplanned production breakdown time.\n\nMaintenance Planning & Execution\nDefine maintenance planning and ensure the support on shutdown activities, equipment overhauls, and maintenance projects while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and within schedule.\n\nEquipment Inspection & Performance Monitoring\nConduct routine inspections, identify all critical machine spare parts, and maintain sufficient stock levels.\n\nDevelop planned replacement schedules for worn components to replace parts before equipment failure occurs.\n\nCreate, distribute, and review daily & weekly equipment maintenance checklists completed by production operators to ensure all inspection tasks are fully executed.\n\nBuilding & External Yard Facility Maintenance\nCarry out full maintenance for factory buildings, office areas and external yards, including regular weed control and structural repairs.\n\nConduct timely corrective actions for all safety observations (SOFI) raised on site to rectify unsafe working conditions and improve overall site safety standards.\n\nDocumentation & Compliance\nMaintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, statutory regulations, and safety requirements.\n\nComply with mandatory PPE requirements, Take 5 risk assessments, LOTOTO isolation procedures and all site safety protocols at all times.\n\nFollow S7 site safety standards, implement all safety improvement actions, and strive to achieve zero safety incidents within the production area.\n\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCollaborate with Production and external service providers to support equipment upgrades, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nContribute to reliability improvement programs and maintenance optimization initiatives to enhance equipment performance, reduce maintenance costs, and improve operational efficiency.\n\nAd-hoc tasks assigned by line manager\nQualifications and Experience\nEducation:\n\nDiploma in mechanical engineering is preferred\n\nTrade background in mechanical maintenance, welding, hydraulics or pneumatics;\n\nFormal training in industrial machinery troubleshooting is preferred.\n\nCompleted certified safety training covering Take 5, LOTOTO and site isolation procedures.\n\nExperience & Industry Exposure\n\nPractical hands-on experience maintaining heavy manufacturing or precast production line equipment;\n\nPrior experience repairing molds, mixing machinery and factory structural frames is highly advantageous.\n\nStrong EHS awareness, knowledge, and experiences.\n\nRelated experience in the refractory industry is preferred.\n\nTechnical Knowledge & Systems\n\nCompetent in daily, quarterly and annual planned maintenance inspection management;\n\nAble to develop equipment adjustment and parts replacement schedules.\n\nProficient in fault diagnosis for all types of mechanical production equipment.\n\nSkills and Competencies\nTechnical skills:\nSkilled in welding, hydraulic & pneumatic system maintenance, and industrial cutting tool operation\n\nStrong mechanical troubleshooting capability for production line machinery\n\nProficient use of all standard hand tools: pliers, screwdrivers, drills, wrenches\n\nAbility to fabricate, refurbish and repair precast mold and bake oven block frames\n\nSpare parts stock control and preventive maintenance scheduling\n\nBasic Word/Excel skill to update and manage maintenance documentation\n\nProblem solving & Communication:\nIndependently resolve minor equipment faults; escalate and organize external support for major failures\n\nAnalyze maintenance checklist data to identify recurring equipment risks\n\nClear communication with Operation/Production Manager on maintenance status, spare part shortages and safety issues\n\nEHS competencies: \nFull understanding and strict execution of S7 safety rules, Take 5 risk assessment, LOTOTO lockout-tagout procedures\n\nStrict adherence to mandatory PPE and all site work safety
