The ideal candidate should have a strong finance/accounting background, a sound understanding of accounting principles, and experience in invoice and payment processing. This role requires accuracy, compliance with financial controls, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess vendor invoices accurately and within agreed timelines.\n\nEnsure proper accounting treatment and coding of invoices.\n\nVerify invoices against purchase orders, contracts, and supporting documents.\n\nProcess vendor payments through various payment methods (bank transfers, checks, ACH, etc.).\n\nReconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice or payment discrepancies.\n\nMaintain accurate Accounts Payable records and documentation.\n\nEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls.\n\nCoordinate with procurement, business teams, and vendors to resolve payment-related queries.\n\nSupport month-end and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable.\n\nAssist in AP reporting, audit support, and process improvement initiatives.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.\n\n0-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance & Accounting.\n\nStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.\n\nExperience in invoice processing and payment processing.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or similar platforms.\n\nGood analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\n\nPreferred Skills\nKnowledge of Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.\n\nExperience with vendor reconciliation and query resolution.\n\nUnderstanding of GST/VAT, withholding tax, and invoice compliance requirements.\n\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\n\nExperience working in a shared services or global finance environment is an advantage.\n\nAdditional Information\nLocation: India - Gurgaon \nWe are an equal opportunity employer that does not discriminate on the basis of any legally protected status.
