This is a 12-month contract to cover a maternity leave.\nWhat does the right candidate look like?\nWe are looking for an energetic, self-motivated team player who is passionate about building strong customer relationships and contributing to a high-performing sales team.\nWhy this job?\nWith a diverse portfolio spanning dozens of categories and some of the industry's leading brands, this is an excellent opportunity to build on your sales experience and grow your career in the beverage alcohol industry.\nPreference will be given to candidates with relevant industry experience, although we welcome applications from anyone who brings the right skills, attitude and potential to succeed.\nWhat does it take to succeed in this job?\nThe ideal candidate will have a passion for wine and spirits and a valid driver's licence. WSET training and/or beverage alcohol industry experience are considered assets.\nThe successful candidate must reside within the Fraser Valley or Metro Vancouver area.\nKey qualifications include:\nDemonstrated ability to develop customer relationships and close sales.\nEffective oral and written communication skills.\nProfessional presentation and strong influencing and negotiation skills.\nAbility to build relationships with key accounts and influence sales outcomes.\nAbility to analyze sales data and statistics to identify opportunities and drive results.\nStrong planning, organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.\nAbility to establish and execute against sales targets and performance expectations.\nBachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent business experience preferred.\nCompensation\nBase salary of $60,000-$70,000 per year, plus incentive bonus and car allowance.
