This includes loading and unloading ingredients, packaging and finished goods, communicating potential issues, and help maintain an orderly, sanitary and safe environment. This position is also responsible for ensuring refrigerated trucks maintain proper temperatures.\nResponsibilities\nComplete a daily pre-shift Forklift Inspection, report and resolve any issues \nOperate any material handling equipment safely and efficiently as required \nUse radio frequency equipment for receiving and storing functions as required \nOrganize and maintain the warehouse areas following Good Warehousing Practices including FIFO, housekeeping, allergen controls, and stock rotation (inspecting and rotating products) \nIdentify damaged or contaminated materials and either segregate (Hold) or destroy the items, following written procedures \nComplete proper documentation for all inbound loads, track unloading times, report out receiving loads within 24 hours \nFacilitate cycle counts, record inventory adjustments, to ensure proper product is available for scheduled production runs. \nClosely monitor and ensure accurate quantity is available \nPlace finished goods away in high levels of racking though-out the warehouse \nProperly load and unload finished goods into trailers in and out of the DC \nPerform daily housekeeping duties of warehouse \nEffectively communicate issues and operations with Management. \nUnderstanding of scanning process as related to inventory movements \nFollow and monitor GMP and HACCP guidelines \nAdhere to Injury & Illness Prevention Program, Food Safety, & SOPs procedures. \nOperates material handling equipment (MHE) safely around employees and visitors.\nAbility to pick and pull orders as required by pick sheet. \nStock away correct pallet quantities. \nDevelops and maintains positive and professional relationships with all visitors, employees, and management. \nWorks with other departments within the Distribution Center / Plant. \nPerforms other related duties as assigned. \nQualifications\nHigh School diploma and/or GED preferred. \n1 Year Warehouse and Receiving Experience \n6 months of Crown Stand-Up Forklift experience \nForklift certified with the first 30 days of employment. \nAbility to read, write, and speak in English. \nAbility to stand, kneel, bend over, climb stairs and ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds. \nMust be able to follow and communicate directions thoroughly. \nMust possess good communication and people skills.\nMust be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.\nROSS experience and Basic computer knowledge preferred. \nRedZone system experience \nProficient in Microsoft programs and using a scan gun preferred.\nThis position is classified as Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime). The expected hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 - $20.00 per hour based on a full-time schedule. As a 3rd shift employee, your shift differential pay is $1.00 for all hours worked during your assigned shift.
