California Closets is a custom home storage and organization company specializing in personalized walk-in closets, media centers, home office cabinetry, and garage solutions. The enterprise offers end-to-end services featuring professional design consultations, custom manufacturing, and white-glove installation to optimize spatial efficiency in residential properties. Headquartered in Richmond, California, it operates an extensive franchise and corporate network of showrooms across North America and select international regions.

Founded in 1978, California Closets has built a reputation as the leader and design authority in premium space management, delivering custom-designed organizational solutions and exceptional service. We believe home is more than just a place - it should be a source of creativity, comfort, and connection. From beautiful walk-in closets and entertainment centers to versatile pantries and home offices, we design custom storage solutions that add value to your life and home by making space for what belongs. Think of it as ‘practical magic.’

The Apprentice Installer supports the installation of custom storage systems and accessories in residential and commercial environments. Under the guidance of Journeyman, Senior, Lead, and Master Installers, the Apprentice Installer learns installation techniques, product applications, safety practices, and customer service standards while assisting with the assembly, installation, repair, and maintenance of custom storage solutions. This role is responsible for developing foundational installation skills and progressively increasing technical proficiency through hands-on training and experience. The Apprentice Installer is an entry-level installation role focused on learning product knowledge, installation techniques, safety requirements, and customer service expectations. Work is performed under the guidance of experienced installers, with responsibility centered on assisting with installations and developing technical skills. Unlike the Journeyman Installer, the Apprentice Installer is not expected to independently complete installations, troubleshoot complex installation issues, or

perform advanced product installations without supervision.
