Think of it as ‘practical magic.’\n The Machine Operator is responsible for the setup, operation, monitoring, and basic troubleshooting of wood processing equipment. This role includes using wood processing equipment such as automated panel saws, edge banders, CNC routing & drilling equipment, and packing equipment.\n1st Shift: M-F 5:30a-1:30p\nWhat We Offer:\nHourly rates start at $21.82 per hour\n10 PTO days, 5 sick days, and 10 paid holidays\n401K retirement plan with company match\nHealth insurance - Medical, Dental, and Vision\nCompany provided life insurance\nVoluntary overtime available on Saturdays\nPaid 30 minute lunch\nDuties and Responsibilities:\nOperate equipment following all safety processes established within the facility.\nProduce the required quality & quantity of parts within established specifications to maximize daily productivity expectations of boards being shipped.\nMaintain a log and records of units produced including a record of errors resulting in rejected or discarded pieces.\nInspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment and perform basic and routine adjustments and maintenance.\nMaintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.\nCheck products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion and resolve any identified problems and alert line lead. \nResponsible for on/off-loading of products such as tables, rolling racks, or wood crates for eight or more hours, daily. \nProduce quality and error-free work.\nEnsure proper storage of materials in the warehouse.\n Minimum high school diploma or GED required.\nAbility to work in all assigned areas of production and perform relief duties when required.\nAbility to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and use/read a tape measure. \nAbility to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, ability to frequently stoop, bend and kneel, often reach with hand and arms and grasp, and be able to constantly stand.\nNeed to have visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts produced.\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily.
