This role is based on site in our Huntington Beach, CA warehouse. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, full-time from 5:15 a.m.-2:00 p.m.\nThe Assembly Production Team Member is a critical role within the company and has a direct impact on the quality and quantity of products that California Faucets provides to its customers. The primary purpose of this position is to fulfill customer orders by testing, assembling components, and packaging them into completed plumbing faucets and fixtures. When performing these jobs, the following activities are required:\nAssembling plumbing systems and fixtures (spouts, valves, showerheads, etc.).\nInspection of finished components during assembly to conform to quality standards.\nFollowing instructions and locating parts on Pick Tickets.\nNotifying team leader of quality variances and parts shortages.\nOperating hand tools.\nEfficiently acquiring parts and ensuring the correct number and type of part is obtained for assembly or final packaging.\nReading and counting accurately, performing simple math, and writing legibly.\nEnsuring rework and repair orders are maintained in an organized manner, and up to date.\nMaintaining close communication with the Finishing team to ensure rework components are returned to the Assembly departments in a timely manner.\nPerforming additional assignments per management direction.\nUse of manual, electric, and air powered hand tools.\nApplication of adhesives and lubricants\nMonitoring the shelf life and expiration dates.\nPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Must be able to communicate discrepancies to team leader and be able to solve problems and implement solutions.\nAbility to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.\nAttention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence.\nAbility to work overtime as needed.\nEnvironmental and Safety Considerations:\nPossible exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise when working indoors.\nMay be required to work with adhesives, power tools, forced air.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nPeople Interface:\nThe position requires contact primarily within the department on routine matters. Contact outside the Production Department is minimal.\nDecision Making:\nThe position requires working from detailed instructions as well as the use of judgment to plan and perform general decisions to solve a problem or select a course of action for a standard or recognized method of operation.\nSupervision Received:\nUnder general supervision, assignments are both task-oriented and objective-oriented. Follows established procedures for routine work; receives specific instruction on non-routine problems.\nAccountabilities:\nAfter adequate training, the position requires a level of accountability to complete a pre-determined amount of work or units completed per shift.\nEducation and Experience:\nThe minimum educational requirement to successfully perform this position is a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate. Someone entering this position should have at least six (6) months experience performing similar work in a related field.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and use hands to finger. The employee is frequently required to stand extended periods of time; reach with hands and arms below and above shoulder; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist or crawl. The employee may be required to lift/carry 1-50 pounds when necessary. The employee must be able to visually identify small finish imperfections.\nPLEASE NOTE: Management reserves the right to change or otherwise modify the functions of this rotational and combined position description to meet the needs of the Company. This includes multiple positions within the Production Department that the Company proactively rotates for health and safety purposes and when staffing needs dictate.
