Join us as we innovate, help our customers reach their potential, and connect underserved communities with unrivaled digital experiences.\nResponsibilities and Duties:\nIn this highly challenging role, you will:\nDesign and implement software features and unit tests related to Wi-Fi based on PRPL.\nDevelop and integrate mesh networking features on prplMesh/Easymesh (prplOS) and RDK-B/OpenWRT-based platforms.\nDevelop proof of concepts for new technologies.\nResearch new Wi-Fi technologies.\nDebug and resolve field issues (client connectivity, roaming, stability, and interoperability) in collaboration with silicon vendors.\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent.\nOver 5 years of experience in embedded system software development.\nStrong programming skills in C/C++.\nStrong understanding of Wi-Fi technologies including 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be etc.\nExtensive experience with WPA supplicant, Hostapd, and Radius protocol.\nExcellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a focus on innovation.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work on multiple tasks concurrently.\nSelf-starter who strives for results and continual improvement.\nMust work well independently and as part of a team.\nNice to Have:\nIn-depth understanding of the 802.11 protocol suite and WLAN technology.\nExperience on Qualcomm, Broadcom, Maxlinear platform etc.\nExperience on Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 (including MLO / 802.11be features)\nHands-on experience with prplMesh/Easymesh, IEEE 1905.1, and 802.11s mesh networking, including Easymesh R5/R6 certification\nExperience with RDK-B, prplOS, and/or OpenWRT gateway software stacks\nFamiliarity with Yocto build systems and embedded Linux kernel/driver development.\nLocation:\nIndia -
